AA never operated the L-1011. They did fly the DC-10 on the routes you mentioned in the 1980s.

I had to make a grocery run this morning as well. I'm trying something new tonight: a cross between Chicken Cordon Bleu and Chicken Kiev. Some seasoned butter and bread crumbs cover a bit of prosciutto and mozzerlla which is then rolled inside a hammered chicken breast. After a couple hours of refridgeration, an egg wash and breadcrumb crust sees them thrown into some peanut oil for a few minutes until they're golden brown. Served with Corey's (in)famous Tater Smash™ and some green beans, me thinks.

I make a variant on Chicken Saltimbocca that other people have been quite the fan of. Fried chicken cutlet, prosciutto, garlic spinach, topped with Swiss cheese and brown gravy.

Missed that in the shuffle. Hope it works out; most people I know that worked for Boeing really enjoyed it.

Thanks, all. I'm starting the process to get a duplicate susbstituting credential tomorrow since the subbing company essentially bent me over.

Hmmm...time to search for another BWI-SEA threepeat.

A trip to CUN might again be in the works for me and the other half. Mom is hopefully sending us on a research mission.

It actually suggests that incentives for managers are aligned with shareholder interests, as long as said shareholders are not "buy and hold" investors.

Nice. SPG dropped rates for MSP Hotels in late October. Just snagged the W for $119/night, and the Westin Minneapolis for $89/night.

That G650 is one beautiful aircraft! Darn nice specs as well.

Are you doing an MSP-GEG run on 10/24-10/25?

I know this may be heresy here, but I managed to book enough flight segments out West on UA to get from scum to 2P in 2 trips. They have double EQPs (they call it EQSs) as well as EQMs but I would never have made it on mileage since all the segments are really really short. They also made it very easy by allowing all sorts of odd ball connections, which piled up the segments without piling up the cost. However, the client is going to think that I am really nuts (I tell them that it is cheaper the way I do it, which it is). Finally, if you buy a first class ticket, they triple the segment (1.5 x 2) value.
So, now I am going to see what UA first class is like. The last time I flew in F on UA was 1963.

Yet another hypothesis disproven. I'm 0 for 2 today. So much for my intuitive leaps

Operation Delta voucher successful. I was able to get the number, verify it, and run back to my office and book the tickets. I think this is the best deal I have ever gotten on a voucher. 61.5 cents on the dollar. ^

Awesome. I can't wait for this DO. My Aunt is already ready to buy her tickets. Think we are going over on Thursday back on Monday. They don't have holidays where she works. I need to head over to the PRG DO thread and see what people are doing for flights. I may wait till after the switch and my flights on LH to see who I want to fly over there. I could just do CO to Germany and transfer to someone else. We shall see.

Ah that is right. I am not up on my aircraft and get those two confused many times. OPPS!

Hopefully things are okay there. It sucks when that happens. Our neighborhood has had a little of that but mostly just people moving. I'm guessing 1/4 of our neighborhood is oil industry so can be a bit transient.

Does anyone know about Circus Circus in Reno. The corp TA just booked me into there for a night. I am a little leary....
