No. SPG would likely catch you via audit, then lock your account and purge your points balance. :-:

I won't try it then. Was just tempted to double-dip tomorrow in Houston given the cheap rates at the Four Points Sheraton on the Southwest Freeway.

I had to drive through the  but I'm up on the ridge right now. The supermarket is apparently right by the resort. With that, I'm off to said supermarket.

I blocked skimlinks on my ABP.

Just scored an $89+ one way LAX-CLE-ERI, which will combine nicely with a $50 flight from LAS-LAX and save me some coin on outrageous Vega$ fares.

I think I finally have my weekend of AYCJ flights figured out:
JFK-PSE-JFK-BUF-FLL-AUS//HOU-JFK-PWM-JFK-MCO-SJU-JFK. First flight departs JFK at 11:59 Friday night and I'm back around 9am on Monday. Five departures on each of Saturday and Sunday.

Is there anything to do in SJU for 3 hours from 2:30-6am on a Sunday night/Monday morning?

There is a Dennys on the other side of the freeway near the gas station I get gas at. Besides that I don't think there is much else there. You will be in the  terminal unless the construction is now done which I dont believe it is.

Well your company is also tied to higher education which in general is tanking right now, which is unusal as usually during times like these more people go back to school but then again states are simply cutting budgets without concern for student populations on campuses.

I feel like I do that weekly. Having college students as an employee base is  at times.

Most College kids aren't out of bed yet by 07:30pm, so I don't think it will be too bad by then. :D

What about DWs? Designated Walkers? To the later you are correct, students don't think about drinking until they have done their homework (nap) on Thursday evening.

I realize the economy is nuts these days, but the over-reaction and panic is just ridiculous. And it's driving me nuts when it's preventing me from getting my work with clients done.

Companies need to understand that the happier you keep your employees the happier your employees will keep your customers. Steve Wynn found this to work well (until he messed with dealer tips in LAS) and he has had a happy company too.

No big loss my friend! IIRC I had the displeasure of flying on one with TWA in the 90s. Damn thing rattled like a ghetto cruiser.

I am well overdue at sitting down with Dad to discuss all of the fun routes and aircraft in my early days when he worked for Boeing and Mom worked for Pacific Northern.

I Flew a L1011 I believe from IAH-DFW and back in the late 80s. I am not 100% sure but may have to call AA about that. It could have been in 1986 from IAH-SFO on AA too when I was in middle school and wrote in and got my first FF account with AA back then!!

And to uphold my comment earlier about the life of luxury, breakfast at 11 am on a Wednesday is living in the life of luxury.

I think I may work on my FM today. We have been having terrible ATT cell coverage at work for about 4 weeks now. Have been told that the reason is they are working to put in 3G towers in the area. knowing my luck they will activate the towers the day before I leave Stilly! UGH!!

Well backto fight the work on my desk.

Missed that in the shuffle. Hope it works out; most people I know that worked for Boeing really enjoyed it.

I still wish I had been able to snag one of those on DL at the end. I know they were falling apart, but I still wanted to fly one. I tried, too — they were pretty common on ATL-DFW flights right up until the end — but I never could manage to get the schedule or price to work out for the work travel I was doing at the time. And in that job, the salary was barely above the poverty level, so there wasn't much budget for non-work related flying.

My dad always referred to it as the "flying boxcar". I flew one in the mid 80s on DL DFW-LAX. I may have flown one earlier but that is the one I recall.

My new hobby is figuring out family lineage, especially on the Czech side. The issue is the spelling of names, as the Czech spelling cannot be found in any of the records and there are multiple English versions since the entry points issued new names...
