Storms over IAH now. Causing havoc? I don't know.

Later on, Box. Laundry's done, so I can now pack and drive. To those going to DC, see y'all on the train or at Union.

True....but I was noteing that it's not my FM that's pathetic....just the "lower 48-ness" and small plane-ness of it.

Very light sprinkles the Galleria area.

With any luck, all of the traffic lights will go out again.

The box was busy today.

Please, someone give the producers of a certain documentary so they can continue filming for another year so they wouldn't think twice about not using anything from today with me in it. I spoke way too fast. And how the he!! did I end up at up front. I really enjoyed writtting something down and then scratched an itch next to my eye to only notice the camera was aimed at right at me.

Don't expect anything from NYC school system. They massaged the budget enough so they wouldn't have to lay off any of the teachers for the upcoming year.

Home from school.

Now it's time to get ready to go see the guys from MST3K do Plan 9 From Outer Space. :D

Correction to earlier post: sbm12's link to Alamo's weekend sale actually saved me $75 for a weekend. This is ^.

My blood boils when I think of the traffic I used to sit in on San Felipe, 610, and I-45.

Mr. Ding-a-ling needs to turn the volume down. I've been hearing "Home on the Range" for 45 minutes.

Question for the Box: which is the "better" bad movie, Plan 9 From Outer Space or Mars Needs Women? Resurrecting the dead in the San Fernando Valley, or knowing that love became obsolete on Mars 50 years before neckties did?

Pretty heavy rainfall now, with pretty regular thunder/lightning. I can barely see the buildings a block away.

With part of San Felipe closed down for road repairs, the traffic at Post Oak & San Felipe (and all up Post Oak up to 610) is now just absolutely lovely.

ETA: Power just went out in our office building.

Nasty storms here in Downtown/Midtown. Getting nailed as I write. The thunder woke up my 9 month old daughter. And she never wakes up due to sound.
