Are you doing an MSP-GEG run on 10/24-10/25?

Nope. That is one of my rare free weekends before the end of the year. Hopefully there will be some nice CO Specials that weekend, or another mistake fare. :-:

Whew, I've had a whirlwind morning. Had a literal million dollar idea (which is like :rolleyes:'ing into the ocean in a multi-billion dollar company) last night and was running it up various flagpoles expecting someone to tell me I'm wrong. It hasn't happened and have been asked to run it up more flagpoles.

Even if it fails, it's good exposure for me in my new job as it's showing I'm trying to add value beyond just what's going on 9-5. :-:

The critical fail is Canada is central to my plan. :mad::mad::rolleyes::mad:

Seriously.

That's right, I think I already asked you if you were going that weekend. :o

Hmmm, SA Y only credits at 100% on BD. If CO credits it at 150%, that may be my first :-: partner credit to CO.

Sounds excellent - I will determine lunch and dinner once I see the selection at the market. Discovering that I had a small cooler in the trunk adds a lot of flexibility (don't have to use everything I buy here).

^ I love that whole foods gives you ice.

Why do the foreign carriers have such good percentages...or perhaps more accurately, why is it anticipated that they will? I don't get it.

Be afraid. Be very afraid. Reno is like Vegas wannabe. Everything there is a tier down from its Vegas equivalent, and Circus Circus in Vegas is already pretty low. Though I generally prefer Slots-o-fun, in front of Circus Circus. Humanity knows no lows there. :D

Depends on what you have in mind. If you need to be in one of the SPG hotels during the day and in another later/at night, both are (now) eligible for stay and point credit. I ran across this in a couple threads recently -- here's the one where the SPG Lurker shares the recent change.

They have double EQPs (they call it EQSs) as well as EQMs but I would never have made it on mileage since all the segments are really really short. They also made it very easy by allowing all sorts of odd ball connections, which piled up the segments without piling up the cost. However, the client is going to think that I am really nuts (I tell them that it is cheaper the way I do it, which it is). Finally, if you buy a first class ticket, they triple the segment (1.5 x 2) value.
So, now I am going to see what UA first class is like. The last time I flew in F on UA was 1963.

If you're buying in F then you really want to be crediting to BD. You get 300% on miles and a 600 mile minimum (1800 with the 3x). Getting to *G is a piece of cake.

I'm leary on using vouchers with any airline other than WN. And I've gotten good deals on those (but I don't think 61.5 cents on the dollar). I did get to use credit card for those purchase, though.

The one in LAS redefines sucktastic. I stayed there on a $219 a.i. three night package which included a $200 Mastercard gift card and 6,219 American Airlines miles in return. I still felt ripped off.

I got to visit a F:rolleyes::rolleyes:d City. For those concerned about the $12 Walgreens "grocery shopping" last night, perhaps today's $19 trip to an actual grocery store is better:

* 2 pounds shrimp
* Leaf spinach
* Potatoes
* Bananas
* Soup

Could it be they got the room for $54?? I just want to get a full nights sleep before I spend 8 hours working and another 8 hours traveling home.
