Sausage acquired last night (~60 cents),
A nice potato rosti (~15 cents),
Eggs (~25 cents),

You have fun there. I'll be in the LAS madness again.

My netbook can barely fit in the port bins (in F - don't know about Y). My compact rollaboard fits in the starboard bins but is designed to fit on a CRJ.

My breakfast usually consists of a 50-cent bowl of cereal. If I eat at home, dinner usually costs $5-$8, but I shop mostly at Wh:rolleyes:le Foods due to convenience.

I have only one CLE entry on my Flight Memory. 1971. My very first flight ever. That's it.

Aren't we overdue for this year's HNL airfare silly season?

Even without considering mine also included a drink, I think I prefer my weekend cheap-but-good breakfast at twice your cost. ;)

We use the "if we can't buy it online - we don't need it" approach :D

Don't forget that the salespeople in the chairless stores give you the evil eye or tell you off when, after half an hour of standing, you sit on the tables.

Huh? I am able to fit my fully-loaded 21" rollaboard into the CR9 overhead bins without issue, whereas one can barely fit a laptop case into the ERJ bins.

Maybe it's a little better on the CR9 — I haven't flown one in a while. I've been on several airlines' CR7s recently and I can barely fit my laptop case in those bins, even the larger ones in F. I have no trouble fitting the same bag in an ERJ-145 bin. No way I could get my rollaboard in the CR7 bins (and I've had to gate check it for a CR9 in the past too), but it will fit in the F bins on an EMB-170/190.

they don't put chairs, then tables are made for sitting!

I was thinking that one might present the salesperson with options:

A. I can sit on this table, or
B. I can stand by the front window/display with horrible posture, looking defeated and creepy to greet your customers.

ETA - DTW is a shell of its former self. Tons of empty gates.

I've had the same issue, and have just gone with who operated the flight as the airline, since it's technically a NW crew working that plan in both the front and the back.

I know plenty of people who got to flee D.C. the week of the inauguration for not much more than $200 ...

ETA - Weird, Airframes.org lists my DL-colored plane as still Registered to/Operated by NW. I'm still listing it as a DL flight. If it has wings and a widget, it's DL.

DL can't use its crews on those planes, or re-register them to DL, until the operating certificates are merged, which won't happen until at least sometime next year. They can paint whatever they want on it, but your pilots and flight attendants worked for NW before the merger, not DL. Officially, it's a NW flight.

That would be pretty unlucky - "Our incoming flight is Behind Schedule*"

* Mocking Delta, of course.

one of the crews even had a mix of DL and NW among them, but I think it was just that one looked good in the DL 'wrap' dress and one was a bit hefty for that :D

They have standardized on a single set of uniforms to chose from now.
