UA agent at IAD while clearing my upgrade for IAD-DEN: "You're connecting on to New Orleans? Are you sure you don't want me to change you to a nonstop? This is a very odd routing."

Me: "No, it's fine."

Her: "Your travel agent did a number on you."

Me: "No, I chose that myself."

Her: "Oh, trying to build up miles?"

Me: "Yep."

SG - thanks! Yes, I have your cell phone. I'm heading off to Metropark at 10 to try to sort it out. My train doesn't leave PHL until 4:58, so that's plenty of time.

That should be plenty of time.....I've always found the Amtrak agents in Trenton to be a lot more knowledgable than the ones in Metropark but whatchagonnado?

 everyone. My trainee has a new hTC Touch Pro2 phone and I have a serious case of phone envy :-:

I'm looking at getting that within the next few months to use on my Sprint unlimited plan.

It is both. In new housing developments there is fiber to the premises. In older neighborhoods it's copper from the house to the node, which is fiber to the rest of the network.

I want U-Verse, at least just for Internet. But AT&T says we can't have it. Our choices are AT&T DSL  or Comcrap . We're currently on the DSL, the lesser of those two evils.

They are called hash browns, not hash whites. Is it wrong to want that crunchy top coating on my morning potato product?

All I can think of is "Betty, pick up your hash blacks".

Is there a setting on FM to have future flights display on the map?
My map does not display future flights but the s/o's does. I cant figure it out

Just booked tickets for our Christmas family vacation in Hawaii. Six first class tickets run $225,827.40. Must be some meal service. Instead of a 767-400, is it a G-V instead? Luckily, the correct fare was calculated.

I had a very  experience. I think I royally screwed it up by picking up myticket yesterday. Now, I can't check in via the Quik=Trak machine, it says I have no reservation.

I spent an hour online with CO trying to figure it out and begging them to protect my flight. Amtrak were no help, they kept telling me I had a ticket. Duh! I know that. I just need to be able to check in via QT and I can't.

they can't refund the money. I have to go through CO. CO says I have to go through Amtrak. So, I'm going to dispute the charge on my AMEX and let them sort it out.

All, I want is to be able to get on that flight tonight without any problems.

I wonder what a charter would be for that route, heh.

When you look at your map there should be a link at the top that says "your future flights are not shown, click here to view them as well"

The correct alternative is the E90. It was interesting talking about that with Shannon (CO Insider's #2) at drinks on Saturday night.
