Why is it that FT drama is a lot like LJ drama? |

Merger/insolvency speculation is pretty meaningless, but something to consider is this: somebody has to have a hub in Phoenix; it's just too big, with too much O&D, not to. Who could put that into their map?
For the most part, aside from Mexico, US doesn't have much of an international network out of PHX so it's easily replicated by WN. |

The running was the toughest to get used to, as I've never done it before. Have been at it for about 6 weeks, now. If you're not acclimated, be sure to use the run/walk method (increasing run time incrementally and decreasing walk time incrementally each week). From what I've read, it both eases you into extended cardio, and also ensures (very important) that you don't overstress your tendons/joints/muscles in the early goings. It sucked mucho, at first, but I'm actually enjoying it now. Dunno how I'll feel once teh Pit begins festering again.
Good luck with teh Festering Pit. When I did run XC, I lived in STL, which is roughly 1 step below festering during August. Not the most enjoyable thing. Actually, the best run I remember was on a rainy summer day. The rain knocked the temperature down to the low 80s, kept me cooled off, and motivated me to run faster. :) I think I beat my previous best 5K time by a minute. It took 2 days for my shoes to dry. |

WN has a very substantial operation at PHX and I wouldn't be surprised if they just grew when US fails.
