I really don't want to pay $289 for a weekend transcon on CO. :rolleyes:

No, I'm staying on the ground for another weekend, but we're thinking of going to SFO (well, Napa/Sonoma) in early November. The other half is about 4k EQMs from Silver so I figured it was worth taking a weekend trip to a place we'd both enjoy. This, of course, was before CO announced another round of DEQMs (:rolleyes:) but I think we'll stick to the original plan if the fares drop a little bit.

If mine were only 4k EQM away from the next tier I'd just run down to Florida for the weekend but no she had to be 12k EQM away from Gold so we are going to SEA.:o

We're already going down to FL a few more times this year so we decided to go somewhere a little different. We've both been to SFO but she has never been out to Napa/Sonoma.

SEA isn't a bad place to have to spend some time... :)

hmmmm, weekend specials are up... MGA would have been nice. Too bad I'm going to AUS for the UT - Tech game.

Speaking of which, I have two extra tickets if anyone is interested.

Ahhh. $298 isn't bad though, especially for SFO. As you told me, you could always wait for the PHL-SMF fares to come back.

Yeah, it's not terrible but it's about $60 higher than the lowest published CO fare between EWR and SFO. I want to rip off the airlines a little more this year...

Our recent move took us about 25 minutes closer to EWR and about 25 further from PHL so she shot down that idea pretty quickly. :)

If we were going for more than 8 hours I wouldnt be complaining ;) but due to work schedules and future trips we do not have any time off until next year.

:mad: My dad got 50 yard line tickets for me but Ill be in ZRH. Now my sister is going with her friends and shes an aggie

Well, at least there is a PClub there with some of the best agents in the system!

Very true, they are great. I am also hoping to visit the Alaska Boardroom and possibly the Sky Club. I just got a P-Club membership again and will renew my SkyClub membership (via my merrill card for free) today.
