Easy cause and effect relationship there, I say. I've been on an ERJ a whopping four times at 363 miles each, and I think I've scored one exit row. By the end of this year, that total might be five flights and it might be seven, but I expect the exit row count to remain at one. 12A might be PHL's toughest upgrade.

If you are flying via FRA, then yes F is worth it for the lounges.
Also there is a huge difference in service between F and C. If LH C is the choice then try to get on the 330 or the 346. But I'll only have ~1.5 hours each way to connect and don't know if I'll be able to enjoy LH's hospitality to the fullest. |

Yeah, I only recall one instance distinctly because I was surprised to be boarding from the tarmac on CO out of TPA. Three planes all from the same gate all boarding at roughly the same time. I was further surprised to learn it was the same Chautauqua plane I had been used to on DL.
If i recall correctly, in subsequent bookings I realized DL/CO essentially shared the route and sold tickets at various price points - DL usually cheaper for the same flight - alternating whose branded plane and which gate you went out of through the day. There were like 3 or 4 of them, but with DL/CO sharing the planes (2 each I think?) it looked like there were 8 nonstops TPA-CMH. |

I personally do not like that seat because you are just in the middle of the cabin with nothing in front of you and people sort of hovering over you when moving around.

That's what I've heard -- esp with the limo transfer.

Hmmm, that's a point (seat guru mentioned something similar) -- maybe I should see if the bulkhead is open.
It is 2x3x2 and there was no one in the middle seat so I was not bothered. |
