Is that like inter-EU F?

That's a long flight in glorified Y.

(I just hopped on the AF site and it appears as they code-share with Air Seychelles for those flights.)

I think those are 180K , fozz just had this award he knows the exact requirement.

Actually, IAH-DXB-MLE-DXB-IAH priced out at 120k in C.

Using OP miles?

I think the AF config is 2 seat, no 3 seats with the cover down nonsense.

That is why I referred him to you ^

What do you guys/gals think of the DSLR camera packages on ebay. I am looking for a (starter) kit and dont want to spend more than ~$600 for a D-60 and 18-55 lense. I would like to get this before the AMS/TXL trip next Friday so I probably need to order by tomorrow if I do it.

Bad idea. Photo equipment sellers on ebay are all shady business. I will not trust any of them to actually have the item in stock. And most likely the stuff are grey-market at best, stolen/used goods at worst.

Rent out the house. Just drive the car there. For just a year, you shouldn't have problem.

What's the problem? It's still DL country. :p

Is EWR-HKG weight restricted? Not that wikipedia is the most accurate source, but those numbers seem to imply that it should be....(again all of this is, if I am reading it right).

EWR-HKG is full passenger year round. In fact, the "longest" route in terms of flight time is BOM-EWR in the winter, and I believe that's also full passenger even in winter.

Yes, using OP miles. I couldn't find availability on JFK-DXB or YYZ-DXB so I grabbed IAH-DXB in the interim.

and now you don't even need the extra 60k.

Interesting. A few strategically placed OP shopping partners plus a few more visits to the ABQ burro should take care of that in short order.

When I did my US divorce and was analyzing which alliance/airline to go to, a differentiating factor with SkyTeam (the kids who got picked last) was the ability to redeem to SEZ. If I do AF instead of EK, what's the redemption rate? (I can't make heads or tails of CO's stupid charts)

CM, HKG is all fine and pandy but I like to vacation in places that I probably won't get to for work. Plus, it needs to be accessible, or en route to, a beach.

Series 10 covers Indian Ocean, and a quick check of who serves SEZ shows that even KQ is an option thru NBO.

HKG for work...your life sucks.

I want a trip in vain on NJT. I'm somewhere between Newark and Secaucus with "signal malfunction" delaying me 30-45 minutes. I keep watching PATH trains go by and hating my life because PATH is better than what I am doing.

As for the AF CIO config, I think that the biz seats are not horrible (Alize class is what they call it, I think) but they certainly are not the same as the real C class on the normal planes.

We just moved 1:rolleyes::rolleyes: yards. And stopped again.

Between this and the AirTrain horrors in the other thread, y'all have me rethinking taking the train to EWR Thursday.

How come there's no ferry service between Manhattan and EWR/JFK/LGA?

** haven't been there, yet.

Traveling for work is one of those things that (usually) sounds a lot better than it is. For example, ABQ isn't a bad city to visit. Once.
