And here I thought the British and the Canadians were bad with departure taxes.

I bet if we showed up in the gate area and started coughing and sniffling a lot we could scare the rest of the pax off the plane. :D

And with just us on board I'm sure that we could come to an agreement with the FAs in terms of access to the bar carts. I'll be happy to supply chocolates again for such an endeavor.

That would be just as funny as Hartmann randomly swabbing things and people, preferably on home video.

I smell a Party Flight Deux.

Yes, part of it is. Another part is referring to the NYT as the New York Obama Times.

Hannity actually was very critical of the Republican Party tonight. You would never hear such criticism of the Democrats from CNN (I certainly haven't, and I've watched them every day for the last five years).

Self serve carts? Yes please!

Thanks to CM, ssullivan, and Steph3n for your thoughts on Chase. I think I'll roll with it and see how it goes.

Also also, I should get 2 EQP for each leg of an AUS - IAH roundtrip, for a total of 4 EQP per ticket, yes? I'm thinking that once I get to AUS, I can qualify for silver on points by doing a series of F turns over a two month period on weekends.

If you are on Full Y or F yu get 2EQP per segment, my thoughts are the same at end of year if I am short a bit going to segment run some 2EQP intra Texas trips :D

I don't think I will be short plat tho, between my business travel, trip to Shogun, and a little more I should easily clear without even touching my flexEQM bank(non expiring!), in Sept I am 100% debt free and will have a lot of blow money, and it will be for air travel :)

If it's political hilarity of the right-leaning version that you seek, I heartily suggest the new Ann Coulter book. The "New York Obama Times" is funny, but sadly true. Coulter's new book deals with the liberal victim mentality and is quite well-packed with examples by the metric ton of liberal . I said the other day that she makes salient points, but you have to see past the humor to get to them. I don't agree with all of her assertions, as I'm someone who is ALCO-drink-coupon staunch in my belief that faith and politics do not have a reason to intertwine and she is equally staunch in her belief that faith is a bedrock component of conservative thought.

This bag may not be B:rolleyes:xers' style but buy.com has the Samsonite checkpoint-friendly case available for $49.99 + free ship. Most other sites I've seen has it for at least $70.

Ann Coulter is a bit annoying, but I would be willing to read her most recent book. She is very tall in person, by the way.

I have essentially that same bag design but not in leather - pockets and zippers are even in the same places.

My laptop recently suffered a broken screen because of its lack of padding (it essentially got crushed by other luggage). So, beware of that style if you're rough on your laptop case. New screen is costing me ~$100 to install myself and i'm shopping for a new bag with some more padding.

Ust walked past my butcher. He closed up shop. Gone. No mas. After 49 years in business.

I'm distraught. Shopping there, with the conversations and them actually trimming the meat custom was phenomenal. And now it is gone. :( :(

Sorry to hear that. If need be, I can come up and hand cut steaks for free. ** (airfare not included)

Good luck with the sale!

In any event, one of the main stories on CNN this evening is women withholding sex with men to force them to lobby for or enact legislation that comports with the individual woman's beliefs. Isn't that anti-feminist to imply that the only power women have over men is sex (despite that these CNN "feminist" female anchors seem to think it is a good idea)? I certainly think so.

I am ready to turn on Fox News just to escape the Twitter and Facebook "ireporter" nonsense. Hey losers, get a girlfriend or something and stop posting your irrelevant political thoughts on CNN Twitter or the CNN Facebook page and hoping that Roland Martin talks about it on his stand-in show for Campbell Brown.

I got rid of all cable except the basics and haven't been upset and now I understand!

Only a bit annoying? I can't stomach even two seconds of her on TV. She comes on, I change the channel. Immediately.

Kathy Griffin sends Ann a muffin basket every time Ann says something ridiculous she can use in an act.
