It was actually pretty cool - they take you out on to the tarmac (in a bus) and show you all around T1, T2 and the cargo areas.

Best 5 Euros I spent... Well, that and the beer. ;)

Morning Box!

It was great to spend time this weekend with Hartmann and sdm1130. Nothing better than stepping off the plane in FRA and seeing some friendly faces in the airport there and then the flight home.

^^

^^ It's always great to be in a foreign place with friends.

At those prices, that's a negative.

I bet it'll come down.

We rarely overbook F. To determine your quest for a bump, you need to add up both F and Y seats available, add in the oversell factor, then roll the dice and run to the nearest GA to add your name to the volunteer list.

And to answer your question, if the current numbers are A3Y3, yes there are 3 seats to sell in F and 3 in Y = total of 6 possible open seats on the plane.

That seems to list some wineries that aren't in our Fodor's See It Guide. ^

I love SPG Plat Concierge. They found me a regular (not SPG 50) rate at the Westin New Orleans that isn't listed on the website. $239/night for an 800 sq. ft. Suite. Wedding night accomodations... sorted!

I'll post pictures (complete with glare from the bus windows ) in a few.

Is that a free tour? Sounds interesting and fun.

No problem
I wonder if Amex can get you something since they seem to sponsor that site.

I don't know city leaders and the like enjoy taking the inaugural, chambers of commerce's regularly do group buys, so it may not be available, on the first flight with direct return.

Wow that's bigger than my first apartment.

Will have to check with the Amex Concierge after finals () are over. Come to think of it, I should probably get our DMZ tour set up soon.
