Don't forget my Cadbury's Flakes!

We have one Flake left here at our house (the Cadbury kind). We found that we can buy them at the West Point Market in Akron. Let me know if anyone needs some.

Morning all.

Our parking lot and street is ridiculously icy this morning. So glad I don't have to leave for the airport until around 2:00-2:30 PM. Unfortunately my partner wasn't so lucky; his office is open, so he's having to navigate the bad roads to work this morning.

You know, I don't dream, well, I do not dream vividly enough to remember.

When using the TravelBank, if you pay for a ticket using a combination of your funds + cash, shouldn't you receive a $5 credit to the bank?

No idea. I'm not going out there until it has all melted. :D

Nice! I'll have to look out for her next weekend. Having to ask someone to bring you BPs is always awkward enough.

I'm not sure I follow your question exactly, but I'll try...

You should receive a credit (in the amount of your TB balance) towards your purchase at that time. If the fare is $100, and you apply $5 from your TB, your credit card will only be charged $95.

The $5 credit for being a TB user comes ~3-4 days after you complete the purchased itinerary.

I bought a ticket to ORD for $140. There was $125 in my TB. I applied those funds to the ticket and paid the extra $15.

Now, shouldn't I get a credit (3-4 days later) in TB for $5?

The reason I ask is that after this recent fiasco with the negative numbers in TB, my account reset to $0, rather than $5 like it should be after the purchase.

The $5 credit won't go in to your account until ~3-4 days after you've completed the travel on the itinerary.

Morning, Box. We have at least six inches on the ground, and it's blowing to the point that I'd have to shovel off the walk to even get to the cars. Fiancee has the day off, and I severely doubt that Cherry Hill is in the cards for me.

Yes, you should. I used my entire TB (like $400) last fall for a ticket to LHR, and I just checked, and yes, there is a $5 deposit for that trip.

I had about 3-4 inches walking out to my parking lot.
It is windy and snow is blowing all over the place along with the falling snow.
I live so close to my office that I can't really call out .

Morning Box.

Looks like my plan to get out West today might actually work. The inbound aircraft is on its way to LGA as we speak. ^

Not sure how it happened, but I dropped from #1 on the upgrade standby list to #4. I imagine I was rebooked as a Plat on a Y fare, and being the first one checked-in, not sure what happened. Oh well, I'm not complaining, I'm getting out of dodge, which is better than most (and will arrive at SFO only 20 minutes later than originally planned). Maybe they'll up-gauge this a/c like they did last week to a 738.

Around HPN things aren't too bad. I'd say there was about 4-5" of  on my car and the major roads, for the most part, were clear. I'm going to leave my office 3 hours in advance of my flight, just in case (trip is usually 20 - 30 min.). They're saying we're going to get another 3 - 4" of  before it's all done.

More is .

Oh yummy! But, I have a question. Is it the kind that is made in Canada, or is it one made in the UK. there is a very slight difference in taste and texture, and being a Brit, of course, I am rather partial to the UK kind!!!

Not that I'm a chocolate snob, of course!! How could I be, I will admit that British cholcoate really isn't that good of a quality when compared with the Swiss and Belgian kind, but I am a true patriot when it comes to choccie!!!
