I am sad to admit that I just used ITA and WN doesn't show there.

And, on looking more closely, I don't think it is going to work for me. On Sunday the earliest flight arrives at TPA only 25 minutes before my UA departure. And the latest flight the night before is too early. Looks like I'm back to NK or driving. :(

Morning, b:rolleyes:x ... I had a whole writeup of our experience getting to STL last night and thanks to FT's :rolleyes: last night and some help from Wind:rolleyes:ze this morning, it's now lost.

I came across their mistake fare $0 a/i LGA-FLL in the big front seat last year and its not all that bad except the fact they keep the temp at 60 degrees and do not have blankets. I flew in the summer so when I got in it felt great being cold but after 30 minutes I couldnt stop shaking (my second degree sunburn didnt help though).

But doesn't DL use theirs on TATL routes from JFK? How do they serve the full meals on those?

They have a small galley infront of door 2L.

When the 757's first came out the rear galley was much larger so there was room for all of the equipement. The issue was the amount of standing room in the galley is the same as current configurations so it always seemed very crowded back there. The mid cabin galley solves the space problem by moving one or two FA's to the mid-cabin galley giving everyone enough room to work.

My "Singapore Project" culminated 18 minutes ago. I didn't get a trip to SIN out of the deal, but I managed to avoid being in Chicago today. All is not lost.

I just checked, yes, I was flying back from SAN and we got an ATC delay in IAH which pushed us out by almost three hours. :(

Wow, that's a bummer. Is it a new FM carrier? There could be a bright side. And it's only a 40 minute flight.

The TATL routes use the old TW planes, i believe there are 12-14 of them in the fleet. I'm not sure how the DL/TW interiors differ though.

Agreed, especially for such a short flight. And, yes, it will be my first NK experience.
fozz beat me to the answer, but I already had clicked the multi-quote button. The TATL ones are different. They have fewer seats actually that CO does (by one) on those planes.

For their typical domestic birds the lavs at the rear appear smaller and they only have a half galley at 2R.
