Is CO taking over the UA "hub" at LAX? Will CO do what they did in EWR and IAH and gut the inside and rebuild it? :)

CO to announce LAX-SYD island hopper with an ERJ .

That would be a lot of islands to hop. But think of the FM lines!

rolov was close with is ERJ island-hopper.

I would want to shoot myself on a 739ER over water for five hours. I can't stand 'em on the transcons.

I've not flown on one yet - I'm always shocked when my itineraries say something other than 737-800. I felt no small amount of nerd elation last Christmas morning when I scored the promo upgrade on a 752 from FLL-EWR.

I think most people can't tell the difference between at 733/5 and a 752. The cabin looks the same. The 739ER cabin looks like a 753.

I agree - the new F seats are terrible!

News on LAX-HNL/OGG = meh (for me at least).

At least the 739ER would enplane / deplane more quickly than the 752.

That's all I got.

The 752 is my favorite aircraft. I've flown more miles (134,967) on 752s than on any other aircraft, and it accounts for my second-highest number of total flights (62). I've flown on the ubiquitous 738 89 times.

To save UA's bacon? He doesn't want to make it to the FAIL blog.

+1 - in terms of both looking at it and flying on it. ^

I think 752s are 2nd on my list just behind the 738s by about 16 flights(188 on the 738s and 172 on the 752). I was really sad when they killed the 757 program as I always thought that was one of the best planes out there.

And if the flight is oversold and you fall below a certain height/weight metric, then can give you half the VDB compensation and put you in the overhead.

The current BF seat works great for me; I'm not picky. But my sinuses have something against larger aircraft. 752's and A330's are a special brand of hell for me. After that upgrade on Christmas morning, I didn't hear right for 3-4 days...way more popping than I'm used to.
