I have my teeth in a jewerly box somewhere. Got all 4 done under a local. It took longer to numb me than it did to pull them out.

I have all of my kids baby teeth.

I will be bronzing my daughter's wisdom teeth due to their cost for removal. She is planning on using laughting gas but at $80 I'm going to veto that idea.

My wife will actually have her teeth drilled without novican.
Last time she was having some work done, the dentist had to walk out of the room and sit down. He damn near fainted.

I did that once for a very small cavity. It wasn't so bad but I won't try it for anything deep.

Sweet mother, what a beautiful routing. ^

Yeah...even better is that I'm tagging that on to the end of the Freddies, and then off to Rome the following weekend and probably DUB the weekend after. DVT, here I come. :D

Any thoughts from The Box on HAM vs TXL for a weekend trip?

I'm 99% likely to be doing HAM for Easter. TXL is ~$100 so not gonna happen. No idea if it is going to be a good idea or not, but I'm pretty sure I'm going.

I'm thinking of going in early May and both HAM and TXL are within $10 of one another (although, the hotel in HAM is about 50 EUR cheaper). HAM looks like a pretty cool city.

Any reason?

I was given conscious sedation (versed) for the removal of my wisdom teeth. That was fun. :D

Gateway to the West Country. Lovely place. I'd like to head back there and spend some more time (and make a side-trip to Cardiff and the rest of Wales). I'd very much like to head to the West Country during harvest season and get absolutely shattered on real Scrumpy, fresh from the cidery. When I lived in Edinburgh, I had a friend from Milton Keynes who made a Scrumpy pilgrimage every Autumn.

If I were going for a weekend, I'd probably choose TXL. No real reason except for the fact that there is a lot of cool things to see in TXL (including Templehof).

I wish I had made it over there to see Templehof before it closed. I suppose it would still be somewhat interesting to see from the outside.

I wish I had gotten to experience the Kai Tak Checkerboard Approach before it closed. Am glad I got to do TGU (which is still open/operating). That's one entertaining approach.

+1

I've decided I'm sufficiently annoyed at CO for it so i'm taking all my high-revenue biz to someone else. (Yet to be determined who). At this point without a thinning of the ranks and the fact that all the currently earned status is good until Feb 2011, that isn't a great outlook for the next 22 months.

Besides, at this point, why not earn top tier in a bunch of airlines? I'm just waiting for DL to match and then I can bag that pretty quickly.

Just did 5hrs in a ua y- middle seat.

That sounds painful. I once did a SAN-IAD flight in E-. Never again will I go near E-.

This is correct. If you're using your *G access, you need to be on a *G flight that day.

I too greatly regret that. It would have definitely been an experience.

:( There goes the idea of using a *G arrivals lounge in SYD (assuming such a thing even exists).

I believe the NZ lounge is all the rave at SYD.

Just buy a refundable ticket and use your *G card.
