I've loved the 757 since the very first time I was flew on one. (Here's a photo of that very plane) It was so nice in comparison to the 727's had been flying up to that point (along with random DC-9, MD-80's due to irops) I loved the old days of powerful and steep takeoffs (go to 1:11 point of video) for noise abatement reasons. I also find the 757's to be real stable going down the runway unlike E170/5's and DC-9's.

Is something  going on at any of the NYC airports? A couple of the old F-16's I used to work on just went screaming over my house to the north, lower and faster than normal.

The 753 is far too long, but the winglets definitely help the look!

The A340-600 is even longer.

I just saw what looked like a 777 pass thru the clouds and down towards EWR.
Looks like normal ops.

Never mind - I can still hear them. I live 7 miles from the infamous bombing range at which the MDANG pilot accidentally poured 20mm shells onto the roof a middle school instead of the range complex. Someone must have been too fuel-heavy.

The clouds started clearing a bit ago, but there were still scattered, it has actually cleared up even more after my last post.
