I get to go see buffet tonight, this could be fun. I like my new consulting gig, I do auditing of concerts at the local outdoor stage.

It might be awhile before I get my driveway back. There's a great big spring under the bottom part of it that stretches to all my adjoing neighbors and it's made the ground a mush. That explains a lot of things about the immediate area and why there's such a big section of sand there. The underground stream behind my neighbors across the street doesn't help matters either. I have to wait for it to dry out. :(

My mother's company does presentations every so often...gated communities and such. My small part in it is to stand up and give travel trivia quizzes. As I write this, I just finalized ten questions and four tiebreakers. The crowd tonight is estimated at over 110, and people will cheat their way to a prize, so I had to up the number of tiebreakers from two. I've been doing this since I was about 16 - and every single time in those 12 years, my mother has told me to hurry up. (I like being in front of a crowd...not that it's obvious....:D)

Well, UniCon Airways has officially gone off the reservation. They're running 3 ATRs IAH-DFW at €1 a ticket. I did my research and that comes out to ~€3k lost a day per flight.

Nice.

We make up for it in onboard sales.

Buffet is always a good time...if anything, for the people watching.

Perhaps UniCon should be renamed Ryanair. :)

The surgeon was kind enough to stop by the waiting room (gotta love free wifi, the indians game on tv and an LCD patient status board). My lovely bride now is the proud owner of 7 screws and a plate in her fibula, plus the value added service of bone chip cleanup. All seems well and we get to leave in the next couple of hours.

No toilets on board domestic flights, they take up valuable room for seating. Plastic bags available for 50 cents (cheap).

Long hauls have a single squat toilet available in the galley. Unfortunately there is no room for a door.

I have a few vicodins in my cabinet, if you really need them. :p

I had a ton of vicondin from root canals and other dental work that I threw out last year. I had no idea it was so valuable on the black market.

Not only are the flights slow, the PF programs in the scenic route.
