I'm looking forward to revisiting during the honeymoon that restaurant we tried out in MEX last year. A pair of Negra Modelos and some real Mexican food would be a good way to start off the vacation right.

See above!

Fox reports the news badly and MSNBC just makes fun of Fox without reporting any news themselves, they're like the Joel McHale (of The Soup) of the news world.

Fox News has always been a joke. The daily triple(Keith, Rachel and Chris), of course makes fun of Fox News every once in a while (boy, they have a lot to work with), but the journalism from all 3 is the best I have seen here in the US.

Well, they do not hide their bias or pretend that there is none. And they are all very articulate and come off as rather smart. I guess it is a question of what "journalism" really means, but I generally do enjoy watching them, knowing that a major part of their job is to be entertaining, too.

It's not just you.

I guess I'm one who does not think journalism is supposed to be entertaining. I want the news and that's about it. If I need a joke about how stupid Sean Hannity is, I can watch Jon Stewart.

Sure, there are parts that are entertaining, bias and technically not journalism, but the majority of their time slots is not just making fun of Fox News ;)

And everyone else is watching Stewart, too, so that is where the market is heading.

A lambourghini just drove down my block. We have large speed bumps. Ot bottomed out. Thatwas entertaining.

I have tried watching Rachel Maddow for the last few weeks because theblakefish recommended it and she is smart. Her interviews are sometimes interesting and well done but it seems most of the show is about knocking conservatives and anyone who has any problems with what the current administration is doing (funny, that's what Fox was doing before).

Nope, just bouncing back and forth between Huntsville, TX and Baton Rouge. With not much time to get online.

That's the rub, I don't watch Stewart or Colbert.

We've discussed getting rid of cable because we do not watch enough TV to make it worth while but my wife wants UT sports, which requires a cable subscription.

I'm glad you like her ;)

The people she's knocking has it coming. The difference between her and Fox news is that Rachel reports facts, Fox News, not so much...

I do like her, I think she's very intelligent.

And about facts, I think that's in the eye of the beholder. Neither Fox nor MSNBC do a good job of reporting facts in a consistent manner.

And I'm done. Guess I'll go hang out in OMNI
