Can someone who knows KVS and/or DL/NW help me make some sense of these results? I'd love to get the KE703/DLNW5800 combo.

I'm going to wait until normal business hours to call the Reward Desk...

EDIT: DL800 is the actual flight while NW5800 is obviously just the codeshare. If DL800 does not show availability, I can't imagine they'll put us on NW5800.

NW can release more seats to their FFers than partners will, so that may explain why you are seeing that via nwa.com/KVS. Worth calling to ask, but you will never know if the agent isn't trying or if the seats really aren't available.

Tremendous photography. It is the largest city in Germany that we have not visited and those pictures made us want to get there even more.

Definitely worth going, but I wouldn't plan on spending more than 2 days there. Even at a slow pace that would be more than enough time to see the major sights. Of course, there are ways to spread things out more and see more, but 48 hours on the ground would really get you pretty much everything, I think. Unless you're crazy like us and want to run there for 26 hours I'd try to tag it on to another nearby city or a trip bouncing through Europe. Or just go for the day. It wasn't all that hard, other than trying to stay awake in the airport before boarding the return flight.

Ugh!

My apologies to all at the AMS DO for bowing out on Saturday. I got so  on Friday/Friday Night, that I couldn't even function by Saturday. It was all I could manage to shuffle down to the Rijksmuseum on Saturday afternoon. "Pace yourself" definitely was missing from my vocabulary on Friday.

ETA - Happy Birthday, Plus1!

I have re-affirmed my need to login to FT (images are blocked in my preferences) before visiting the Box ...

Happy Birthday Plus1!

I ran into channa yesterday at the ORD club. I had never met him but I saw someone browsing FT and decided I would go over and say 'hello'. Most of the time I do not want to interrupt people but it's nice to meet fellow FTers so I broke the mold :p

I would kind of liked to have been able to survive into the later rounds. As it was, AMS scored a TKO after about 04:00am Saturday Morning. The day started Friday at around 08:30, with 11.8% Dutch beer at Schiphol that tasted absolutely rank (but didn't stop me from having 3 tall-boys before the train made it to AMS). Everything's a bit blurry after that.

Especially after all the practice at the BRU DO! I would chalk it up to bad beer and be happy! :D
