Armadillos are the most suicidal critters I've ever come across. I've never seen critters actively throw themselves at car tires (they come out of nowhere) like armadillos.

Possums have to be a close second.

I save that for the TSA ;)

You can find lots of armadillos in West Palm Beach, FL.

I'm a bad soccer mommy...it was raining alittle this morning and I was hoping the fields would be closed so that I didn't have to go to my son's game this morning. It's a perfect day to just roll over and sleep in. :rolleyes:h well, off to wake up the soccer star and get going.

Please. We get so much mail at home from Larry's office in response to Baglady's missives that I often wonder if the guy is sending her mash notes under cover.

;)

It should be pretty easy to supply you with a flattened armadillo. One passes an example here almost daily. Can't recall the last time I saw one on the move though.....

Armadillos were the topic at BL JR's school one day. As the kids were coloring their armadillos, the teacher casually mentioned that she had hit an armadillo. When BL JR related this story to me, I said "everyone hits an armadillo if they live here long enough; trust me, you will someday".

My mother (kinda understandably but not really) wants me to come home from AMS on the NW flight that she is on. Never mind that the CO flight that I want to take is scheduled in 13 minutes earlier than her own. If I'm in the back, it's a 762 and I get the 32" Y- experience. If I'm up front, BF goodness. Is there a compelling argument to try WBC before DL screws it all up?

The WBC on the A330's is nice....my only complaint is the food service, its not nearly as nice as the CO presentation....but if I had my choice take the NW flight as DL has not raped it yet, the overall experience is better than CO's IMO.

Do you like the BB Storm? I'm thinking of upgrading from my ancient Treo!

It has a few issues, but I generally am happy with it. They really need to perfect the software, though.

WBC has 5 additional inches of pitch and AVOD. Food is not very good at all compared to CO. NW has 32" pitch in coach on the 330, plus AVOD. The WBC seat is better for a day flight than the CO recliner seat, IMO.

I was just told unequivocally that she will not let her client pay for J. I don't fly enough to burn miles on upgrading these flights...the whole excitement in going is building miles much faster to get the reward that I want, which is not AMS. Meh.

You will live with NW for 7 hours. How long are you going to live with your mother? Capeesh???

LIM is great. Might be my new favorite big city destination in S. America (didn't get a chance to see SCL, as I only connected there). Am off to explore the parks right around the hotel, then head down to Miraflores & the waterfront for dinner.
