I have a feeling that relatively cheap coach fares to Central America and Northern S. America are going to become the norm, rather than the exception. With NK (and now B6) plying the skies to those locales, fares should remain interesting. Not sure if we'll see $550 SFO-LIM fares again, but $375+ from the Northeast shouldn't be out of the question.

PC Showers are a Godsend. I even managed to snag one of the new (to me, at least) grey BF amenity kits from the shower valet. Just goes to show how long it has been since I flew BF. Too many mistake fares on other carriers to bother with Miles + :rolleyes:pay.

LOL. 32 people on the upgrade standby list for my EWR-SFO flight, and I'm nowhere close to the top of the list. First Transcon Y experience coming up...

Hey CM - Do you have any "ins" at any of the LAS steak places? The best man did not think to get reservations for a group of 10 next weekend so I decided to do my own research. I grabbed early times this friday night at The Palm and CarneVino but did not know if you had any other venue suggestions.

Exit row I hope?

My connections are at the Palm and Morton's, and it's not that I'm unwilling to try for you, but I doubt that after four months out of ACY my name would be good for too much. Having said that, the Morton's AC sales manager should be in at 10 Eastern. Worst-case, I ask her to make a call and she says no, or I can put you in touch with her.

Pesci bless the auto-timer coffeepot.

The two BPs I went to out there we did the SteakHouse at Circus, Circus. Yes, the locale leaves a lot to be desired, but we always had a pretty good meal, and it wasn't ridiculously hard to get in to.

Can't really complain. Had a BF Seat on the 7.5hr LIM-EWR, and breezed through immigration/customs in 15 minutes (no other international flights there at that time).

I don't have one of them at the office or at home. Fortunately, I do have one of the coffee makers hooked directly into the water line at work with separate tap to get tea water while waiting for coffee ...

That restaurant's the best part of the whole establishment.

There are $350-ish fares out there from the East Coast to LIM right now (+100-ish in taxes).
