You laugh, but I have done it before when I got tired of some dude on a speaker bragging about his manliness and really offending some older folks around him.

Not in the PC though...

I have also passed people notes reminding them that it really would be nice for them to be courteous to those around them, which was followed with a death stare when they looked up.

Another day and another segment deleted from my fiancee's honeymoon reward reservation.

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

At least it was just two domestic DL segments that were easily added back.

I just hope I can make it to May without any more Aeromexico snafus. I now have sunk costs on AA MSY-MIA to make that first reward flight.

My tact is more the loud sarcastic comment while walking by about "not being able to hear (television / phone call / etc.) because some major league a-hole is yelling in the PC ... yeah - I cannot believe it either ... seriously, I wish he would shut the hell up" and so forth.

He might have been the person I sat beside last Wednesday BNA-ATL (thankfully a short flight).

At this point, I'm expecting to be refused check in at JFK on the night we are scheduled to leave.

Dear Captain Douche having a speakerphone call at top-volume in the PC,

You suck. That is all.

Best Regards,

ALCO

On the day we were heading to AMS for the More is More Open Skies trip, I encountered the loudest cell-phone talker I had ever observed in the DL CRC at DCA while waiting for my flight to JFK. He was on some sort of a conference call and was literally yelling into his bluetooth. After about 10 or 15 minutes of that nonsense, I marched right up to him and told him to lower his voice because I could hear him from accross the lounge. He complied and was actually somewhat apologetic. Another person sitting near him gave me a thumbs up on the way back to my seat.

Polarizers. They're expensive, but they really help bring out the blue in the sky on bright days like that. And make sure that you either use a custom WB or set the camera to overexpose by .5-1 stops to deal with the fact that the average color in the scene is going to be much, much brighter than an 10% gray card.

What is the diameter of the filter threads on your main lens? I may have a spare circular polarizer that I can loan you.

Blue. The white (which is what I have) shows dirt and scratches/scuffs too easily.

Ahhh I did forget about the white balance and thank you for the offer. I will pull out the gear and drop you a note offline.

Blue it is.

I just got asked if I live in BUF. No disrespect, but aren't the EWR, PHL, Devils, and "Phlyers" references somewhat of a tip?
