I don't know how I should take that strangers think of me when they get dressed. :o I generally prefer... nevermind. :o

In other news, I'm philosophically opposed to Upstate NY too. Now you'll think of me every time you go home! :D

Whew! ;) I was thinking that somehow there was some B:rolleyes:X cultural bias against capris  that I wasn't aware of & would render me ineligible to hang out in same!:D Glad to hear that a fellow B:rolleyes:Xer shares a similar fashion interest!^;)

You'll have to find a funny text from last night for that to happen.:D;)

I'm not sure whether the anti-capri bias would persuade or dissuade me from wearing them when I finally make it to a Do.;)

Doing the daily reading of www.fmylife.com and this one really made me laugh because when I used to go to LBB to visit the fiancee I would have to drive her civic with girly crap all over it. Note Im a big guy so I look funny in a civic.

"Today, my car was in the shop so I borrowed my wife's VW Beetle convertible. It's really embarrassing because it's a girlie car and it's full of little stuffed animals. At a stop light a man asked me if I'd like to borrow one of his testicles because "every man should have at least one." FML"

Just did my daily call to CO searching for ATL-ICN on DL. There are like three occupied seats in J and still no reward availability.

Why call CO? You can check DL availability on delta.com. If it shows on delta.com, it will be available to CO. I have done lots of DL rewards from CO and this has always been the case. Now nwa.com is a different story.

Flew ATL-ICN on DL March 4, 2009 in BC. With a DL return ICN-ATL on March 17th. Connecting flights to SYD and return from BNE on KE.

DL does open up flights. Original schedule was DCA-JFK on DL and JFK-ICN on KE. But when DL opened I switched the two tickets to the DL ATL-ICN with a DL DCA-ATL in F. The orginal returns were ICN-NRT on KE with NRT-ATL on DL on March 17th. But when the DL non-stop opened - I switched the two tickets to ICN-ATL from the ICN-NRT-ATL routing. The DL non-stops are very nice.

Another plus with the routing through ATL. Was on the 7am DCA-ATL, but it got cancelled just before push back due to mechanical. DL held everyone on the flight for 10-15 mintues, then we exited the aircraft. I rushed from F to the gate counter (first in line) and the agent had already booked two of us on the 8am from DCA-ATL (and we even got the last 2 F seats). The 8am was about 40 minutes late leaving for all the confusion. So we arrived in ATL about 25 minutes before the DL ATL-ICN and had to rush to the gate (from ATL Term A to Term E). Arrived about 12 minutes before departure. BP's beeped (already out of the system) but seats still held so we got on the flight. The saving thing for the baggage was that it then got put on the KE nonstop (which leaves 1 hour after the DL) - and both the DL and KE flights connect to the KE ICN-SYD.

Back OT - if the DL seat maps are light - keep checking delta.com every day - probably twice a day - (evening as well) and DL will open seats at some point at standard rates.

Shocking Confession: J.Edward is currently in a US Club

Shocking Truth: J.Edward is actually pleased with the decor & offerings.:eek:

But seriously, their club in TPA's not bad. Think PC-ish (mahogany paneling, black granite countertops, tillamok cheese, etc.) There is no free booze (booooo!) but considering the alternative of sitting on the concourse, I'll happily take the lounge!

I actually found their lounge in CLT to be rather reasonable, too. Of course, they threw me out 15 minutes after I arrived because they were closing even though a bunch of flights were delayed several hours. And with no free booze nor wifi I don't really bother with the lounges too much.

I didn't even bother with the TPA one when I was there back in April and was delayed a couple hours. I found a quiet corner and used TPA's free wifi and was quite fine.

One of these days we're going to throw a shindig. I'll shoot you a note and you can come up and kick it.

I motion that the belynch housewarming should be immediately followed by the Penalty Box Lache DO.

Tanks for the tips. I have been checking DL.com, as well, but no availability yet.
