Imagine That was much better than expected. BL JR and I had a thoroughly enjoyable time.

We're going to have my dad with us for a bit while my mom goes to China. I'm trying to book him on the same flight we have IAH-ATL. Our seat map shows wide open but I can't get the flight to even show up. ???? :confused: ???? I'll call CO and I guess worst case, I'll book him the flight after and standby for our flight.

You get a different colored key. Plus the front desk staff will thank you for your loyalty.

I have, on rare occasions, gotten a comped drink or a few extra points, but these are promotions that individual hotels run rather than anything program-wide.

Worse, if only because SPG Gold gives you a higher point bonus. Neither program will give you upgrades with any frequency. I have had slightly better treatment ex-US as a SPG Gold than as a Marriott Silver.

There is no way I can maintain SPG plat, so I want a status match before it expires, but I am not sure where to go. My friend says he has a promo for free marriott silver and I was going to sign up for that, make a few reservations and see if they will match me.
