You can check online at co.com with your conf # to check the booking code before the miles post, but I have had L tickets rebooked in at the airport for one reason or another A, F, Z, J and Y (verified by checking the itinerary online) and been excited at the prospect of extra miles only to be disapointed when the correct L fare miles post. Last week I took a bump and the agent booked me into the fare class F on two segments, one credited at L and the other credited at F, so YMMV

Cue dramatic music! LOL

Thanks for the suggestion Shawn....I checked the website and it says I'm booked in Y and F with 150% EQM (300% with DEQM I guess) so I guess I lucked out.

Flight 44 MIA-EWR is total kettle city with about 30 gate lice blocking the way for everyone .

Is everyone in FL nuts? Before you accept the keys to your rental, aren't you suppose to do a walk thru and accept/reject the place and make notes of what is acceptable? Argh. At least I'm getting enough money to cover the condo fees.

So a symbolic victory over the school board and a victory over the tenant-from-hell (until the next battle begins) both in the same day?! If all your flights to EWR are on time with no , would that be considered a trifecta? ^

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that tomorrow night (my next day back at work) will be a winner. A trifecta would be wonderful.:)

Well, I overslept this morning and missed 1019 TPA-EWR. The TPA-EWR flights are all oversold for the rest of the day. Seatcounter showed a couple seats left on TPA-MIA-EWR (9131 & 44) so I hightailed it to the airport to do some begging .

Joe Z at the counter was fantastic and not only confirmed me on both flights but cleared me in F for the MIA-EWR leg. I think he may have also pushed full-fare booking (ticket says "Y") but I won't know that until the flights credit. Not a bad deal during the waning moments of DEQM.

Have a good Saturday Box

OPPS!

Hope for the Y Class booking! And tell those Kettles you are first CLass and to get outta your way (at least that is what the guy did to me in Houston a few weeks ago when my aunt and I were in the elite line for our EWR trip!)

Thanks.....it's all good except they're taking forever to board a 2/3 full flight. Looks like they're just about to close so I'll bid the box farewell until a better time (or until I get to EWR....whichever comes first).

So, I finally opened up the 'Penalty Box' thread (or at least the last page of it, anyway). Ever since it first popped up, I thought penalty box referred to EWR ATC delays :) Now I'm trying to figure out if it's really an hommage to Seinfeld - a thread about nothing. Crossing my fingers this is the correct place for this post:

To the woman in 4L on Co72 Tuesday night, it is *NOT* ok to clip your fingernails onboard a plane. Never. Ever. Geesh, I hope it was 'only' fingernails.

Welcome to The Box Wx4caster. Take a beer down and pass it around.

Wow, you're way behind in posting. Need to stop multi-quoting! Remember More is More. :D

False alarm on 44 MIA-EWR leaving. Just as we were about to push, the captain announced  at Newark with an update time of 2:00. Right now, there's woman near tears in the galley asking the FA's if she'll make her connection with another 3 people behind her all about to be told the same thing. Everyone here I'm sure knows the response they'll get....anyone care to quote it? :)

Stay tuned to this channel (thread) for further updates.

And to the fool who sat beside me in BF and used his electric razor, in his seat, mid flight. Ugghhh.
