It is going to be a while, I'd guess. Figure a couple weeks. Things rarely move quickly around here.

In other news, why are so many people confused about seats on CO's 772, and why did SeatGuru change their version of the seat map to be incorrect??

The only inaccuracies of the seatguru seatmap are the lack 16DEF and 17DEF and the listing of 18 (or 19) DEF as bulkhead, correct?

Yes, as best as I can see, but there have been three different threads in the past week - two of them today - about this topic. Annoying.

I don't understand seatguru. Many of their maps are inaccurate, and have been inaccurate for a long time. They do not seem to respond to users who report the inaccuracies and take forever to revise the seatmaps. It's as if someone logs in once a year, reads a few complaints, then makes a half-hearted attempt at fixing or updating the existing seat maps.

At least they have added many other airlines over the past year or so.

I missed that one. Wow, what a disaster of a seatmap.

AMF in NJ Aug 5, 2009 10:29 am

It also looks like row 31 is missing.

AMF in NJ Aug 5, 2009 10:30 am

And row 45.

Whoops...I missed that.

They basically created the map by making a dummy reservation and trying to pick seats or by looking in a GDS as which seats are assigned/empty, ignoring the blocked seats which aren't shown. I don't know when they changed that image because it used to be perfectly accurate.

And I agree that they are ridiculously slow about fixing problems when reported. I've stopped bothering.

In this particular case SeatExpert is accurate, but it suffers many of the same problems as SeatGuru in terms of accuracy and update frequencies.

Yet they still list that there are 50 BF seats (and only show 44 of them). I've tried to submit comments before and they always just seem to ignore them.
