Never argue with idiots, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

92 degrees, just south of SFO. Can't wait to go to work, just to cool off.

I sat with my 'emergency' fleece on most of the day. Quite the look. The thermostat said 71, but I'd say it was 65.

Major drama with our nanny. She was leaving the end of Oct. to move to spend the rest of her life with the man of her dreams. I flew him here to surprise her for her birthday. After spending the weekend and her birthday together, they broke up.

So your plan worked?;)

Are you willing to deliver the refrigerator to my 65th floor walk-up? :-:

Ok, i'm officially a true-believer in Dollar Store/Tree space saver compression bags.

I got a comforter and a electric bed pad into the bags and down to the size of a cooking tray when they originally were the size of a full kitchen trash bag. I had one bag courtesy of my sister, and she swore by them. It worked and I went to hunt for more - thinking I could do better then $1 per big bag or a pair of medium sized ones.

Turns out the brand name bags cost $5-$6 per bag.

So, Dollar Tree for all your compression bag packing needs! You have to wrangle the item into the bag which is a workout, but once inside you'll be amazed at how much it compresses.

Chase no longer allows account consolidation?

Just got off the phone with Chase -- wanted to consolidate some of my CC lines into my PPlus to create a 100k limit in order to drop it into a new savings account (certain banks allow the initial deposit to be done via a CC for no fee and without processing it as a cash advance.)

Anyways it turns out that Chase no longer allows customers to consolidate lines, or at least that's what the rep (who seemed like she knew what she was talking about) mentioned.

Just curious if any box locals have had any success consolidating their CC lines with Chase.

Yeah - I got mine at Walgreens when they were free after rebate.

I've been using the smaller ones for traveling. Put socks, t-shirts, down jackets, etc. in them and compress the heck out of it and you have a lot more space in your luggage.

Just received a change to the T+C's on my Chase card, but don't remember seeing this. Login to chase.com and you should see it next to your June statement.

In other news: Taco Tuesday! :-::-::-:
