Yeah, thats great.

I did not get in on any CO M>BF action, except that I was able to B-up my IAH-NRT segment. I was afraid that it would get caught and I would be stuck in Y. Oh well.....

He then said something like"it probably looks better than your face."

Huge .

Please tell me he's in coach.

I think my first live concert was a telethon taping for Miami Sound Machine. Among my personal highlights of live shows are Jerry Seinfeld, the Eagles, and Don Henley.

Making the .../face comparison in a joke or an attempt at an insult is something that I think I last heard back when I was a devotee of Pee Wee's Playhouse.

Ladies and gentleman, Mr. Conway Twitty.

(This post would have been funnier if I had actually hyperlinked to this instead.)

Meh, my concert laurels are not nearly as well established as you guys. I caught Dave Matthews Band last year on my birthday and they blew my face off, but other than that, my concert attendance has been somewhat lax. I did take my wife (then fiance) to the series of shows Garth Brooks did in Los Angeles last year since he doesn't actively tour anymore and she's a huge fan. I'm quite  toward country music in general but the guy does put on one hell of a show.

Mine too. Saw them at Music Hall in CLE. Is that place still standing?

I have a ticket to see Green Day at MSG in a few weeks but I really don't like their new album.

Do I dump the ticket? @:-)

Most of the time I just enjoy the performance, but there have been a couple I was like please, if I wanted the studio version I would have stayed home and not payed ticketmaster a crapton of unsubstantiated fees.

That being said, this lover of live music has seen some amazing acts over the 25+ years since I started regularly seeing shows.

My first concert? John Denver live on the slopes of Snowmass at a festival in the mid 70s. Interestingly, also my first experience with beer. The hippies thought it was cute giving me a taste of Coors.

First show as a teenager? U2 on the Unforgettable Fire tour.

Worst show ever? Sinead O'Connor ruining reggae

Best experience? sitting onstage for R.E.M. in 1987 when they played on my campus.

Notable? Sting, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel, Replacements, Better Than Ezra, Dizzie Gillespie, The Marsalis family, the first two Lollapaloozas, Crosby Stills Nash & Young, Police, John Mayer, BB King, Chuck Berry.....

First concert for me was Billy Joel at Madison Square Garden when I was like 12. Since then, some of the best have been Rush (20-something times), Plant/Page, The Black Crowes, Susan Tedeschi, Paul McCartney, The Police, Alice Cooper opening for The Rolling Stones, Richard Cheese, The Fab Faux, and too many others to remember right now.

AMEX must have really wanted me to start using my SPG AMEX as soon as possible. They sent the card to me via UPS Next Day Air.

Despite the reports of low credit limits in the SPG forum, the limit they gave me is very much usable. Although, it is lower than the limit on the AMEX I canceled last week so I might need to give them a call about that...

Michael Jackson's Thriller tour was my first. I think I was 6 and fell asleep for part of it.
