That video has been taken off youtube so many times.

It is a classic. I don't get why the professional responsibility professor didn't show it to us. I mean, he's only the richest attorney in Texas... so it obviously works. :-:

I just got blown away when I heard that Lou has brought back Jacques Lemaire, a true blast from the past.

Since this team has had nearly a complete turnover in personnel since Jacques departed to St Paul, very few or none of the players has developed the "tired of Jacques" syndrome that eventually envelops all. However, he is a great coach for winning games that you are not supposed to win, mainly by putting the other team, and the crowd, to sleep.

All baglady man candy save for feta. Fried calamari is nothing more than a delivery system for usually average marinara sauce.

I like crab cakes, too, but to make it from scratch w/shelling the crab, etc. -- what a pain! I used to go crabbing a lot on LBI when I was a kid -- then my mom would put my sis & I to work to shell them!

Mmmmm... squid.

I like the small ones grilled, with all the tentacles sticking out at wild angles. Yummy.

I originally had quite the negative reaction to hearing about Lemaire, as I really hoped that we would get Peter Laviolette.

The reason I'm thinking that it's a good hire despite Uncle Fester's tendency to go back to the future is that the Devils got much younger in the offseason. Jacques might be a boring coach, but he is one hell of a teacher.

I don't think Lou is done moving players, nor do I think that Brian Rolston will be a checking-line forward this coming season.

I hope that the schedule release date that the Devils' rep gave my mother is really tomorrow...I'm tired of waiting.

D.C. can get every bit as bad as Houston. It just doesn't stay that way for half the year.

Given the weather pattern this year (persistent high pressure parked right over Austin), I would be very surprised to see a significant cool front (high temps in upper 70s or lower) before late October, if not early November. That's what happened during the last really bad summer in the late 90s (which also coincided with the start of an El Nino)

But dinner is almost ready.

It sucks working until 1am. I never fall asleep quickly. I am usually up until about 3 or so and it SUCKS. :-:

Wachtel and Skadden screwed up that case so bad, they got it punted from DE to TX thinking the TEX in Texaco meant something. It meant something to Jamail, 12 billion dollars.

Home field advantage pwned.

At Paris they claimed they were king crab legs but I thought they looked too small and the one I had to fight with to get anything wasn't worth it. How are you supposed to get the meat when you the legs just bend instead of snap and that slit in them doesn't help.

After the one segment on After The Catch, a big :td: to Capt. Jonathon since he wouldn't have done Sig's. ^. I thought Jake Anderson was going to reach over the table and deck him if the cameras weren't there.

The ac in out office is crap. They replaced it a few years ago with a 2 ton residential unit. The problem is we must keep it running 24 hours a day. The residential unit were not designed for that and can't handle the winter either. About every 5 months the ac craps out and the boss it's always a big surprise to the boss that there is a problem. With all the computers and servers in the office it can get well above 95 in there :-:
