Fans do wonders - how I survived Paris in the summer.

Something like a Vornado designed to move room air would help a lot.

No ceiling fans but we do have room fans, thank god. The area that I live in, just south of SFO is usually very cool. I don't turn off the heater until late April. For a few days a year we suffer thru these high temps and this week is one of those times. :td:

My fiancee is a lobster person, and lobster just doesn't do it for me...I'll take crab over lobster every day.

I think I make the second best leg of lamb (my mom cooks the best). My husband hates it but the kids like it.

Tonight was beef stew. Easy one pot stove dish that doesn't heat up the kitchen.

Lamb cooked wrong is horrible, but cooked right is wonderful.

Personally I like it cooked in a Mediterranean style, or spanish style if you will.

I have only eaten one good lobster in my life and I keep on trying to find another one. Not one of my favorite things anymore. Can't stand crab.

When I used to vacation in Maine, I could eat lobster all day long from breakfast on!:D I imagine you are referring to something like Alaskan crab, huh?!

I cook mine very simple. Marinate for 24 hours in vinegar, soy sauce (Aloha Brand) and oregano. Then cook at 325/20 minutes per pound, pouring some soy sauce over the lamb every now and then.

For me, if the lamb tastes too 'gamey' -- it's not for me. I, too, like it, 'mediterranean' style!

Now that sounds good -- I guess it's the soy sauce that 'attracts' me!!;)

The vinegar and the soy sauce cuts the gamey smell and taste from the lamb. The oregano makes it a fake Greek dish. Lamb was the only Greek dish my mother would make for my dad, first generation Greek-American

If you tried lobster in Maine or crabs in Maryland, you'd never go back!

Night Box. Off to work I go. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the Airport isn't having A/C problems down by our gates. Since the planned move in 2001 that never happened, they have refused to replace the A/C, which breaks down all the time.
