Just got off the phone with Chase -- wanted to consolidate some of my CC lines into my PPlus to create a 100k limit in order to drop it into a new savings account (certain banks allow the initial deposit to be done via a CC for no fee and without processing it as a cash advance.)

Anyways it turns out that Chase no longer allows customers to consolidate lines, or at least that's what the rep (who seemed like she knew what she was talking about) mentioned.

Just curious if any box locals have had any success consolidating their CC lines with Chase.

I can't speak on consolidation, though I did recently have Chase split up my line for a UA Visa and it was no issue.

Hehe, in a lighter story I took some newbies on MRs and gave them a taste of boarding on the red carpet. I let them go first as the BPs were all getting scanned and after that I ran down the jetway and pushed them aside saying loudly "1K coming through." I'm pretty sure some boarding behind me was doing a .

Hopefully there was a 1K behind you as well.

I thought the Mint website language was "Two boxes per President per order". Why is it then that I ordered two boxes of Andrew Jackson as my first order, and then in my second order the two boxes of Jackson coins were stricken from the order?  Maybe the Mint is getting wise??

Who knows -- but the NA Indian $ coins are limitless, IIRC.

Ok... I've got extra bags... What else can I forcibly remove the air from?

I have three more Presidents to order - will do NA's after I've used my apparent Presidential allocation that says per order but really isn't.

How big a box is $500 worth and how heavy are they?

Face value - you're buying 500 $1 dollar coins. The shipping box is a smaller form factor than a carton of cigarettes and 500 coins ships (free) at a hair under 10 pounds.

Vegas' Monte Carlo must be missing me. Sending me offer of $39 rooms with $30 free play. They're going to need to do a whole lot better than that for me to take up their offer.

I'm nuts. I realize that. And I'm reminded of that at home all the time ;)

Why would you transfer them before you are actually ready to redeem? You kill the value of the points by forcing them to CO when you might have a use for them elsewhere.

KLM Crown Club still wins in my book for general offerings, classy-furnishings, and yummy food.

Lounge 52 @ AMS was quite nice on Sunday morning. Of course, I mixed myself a gawdawful bloody mary and had to abandon the last third of it, but they had all the tools there for me to use had I been coherent. And little sugar donuts. Yum.

That's better than the $45 offers I get from the Hilton.
