Also, I note that you used the British spelling for favourite :)! Having been here for 15 years, it looks really strange to me now!!!

My spell checker always flags the Queen's English wording. To me, the word, "color" almost sounds as it is spelled (cull-er). "Colour" looks like it should sound as call-our.

There needs to be filter that says "your thread contains potential  please start a different thread"

This is a great idea, but the East German and French judges will always skew the average.

Still not worth $100.

True; relative price is too high. Just throwing poo at the wall and seeing what sticks. :D

I ate there two weeks ago. The menu is totally different now - it is prix fixe only, with $65 and $80 options, all chef's selection. It also is possible to order individual pieces of nigiri, but there are no more traditional appetizers or any sort of rolls. The sushi quality still is outstanding, but, overall, I give the menu a huge :td: for offering only prix fixe multi-course high-priced selections or a la carte nigiri, not to mention the elimination of all the great appetizers and rolls. It is apparent that the additional seating they installed in a revised layout required them to downsize the kitchen. We overheard someone complaining to the manager that he liked the old menu much better. The decor is nice, however. I will not be going there nearly as much unless they make the menu more traditional.

Do you think the ~1100 extra EQM is worth 100 dollars?

Is the DL ticket also to EWR? What itineraries were you looking at? Are you coming from LAS? ITA is showing the same cost for a non-stop from LAS as the connecting flight on DL.

In DC? I would say nowhere in DC comes close to overall quality of fish, but there are a cluster of places that are about two levels down in quality from Taro, but still are good. I go to a neighborhood place accross the street from my apartment if I want sashimi or basic rolls, but there are other decent places around, like Sushiko in Glover Park, which is a bit overrated, but good. Also, Sushi Aoi is ok. Uni also is around the corner from me, but I don't really care for it.

Is it just me or has the number of "poo" related references in The Box gone way up this month?

Everyone make sure you wash your hands when you close your browser...also take your jacket and don't forget to bring a towel! :D
