Or in the SFO UA F lounge, on the phone with Bill, Steve, Larry, or the other Steve.

Ok.. After a bit of rough evening last night, I'm refreshed and awake to conquer the world - or at least the last of my packing. (Mind you it's 5pm and i just got out of bed.)

Now I have to stomach a bit more seperation anxiety and get the last of the stuff boxed to cram, ship, or sell. I was like one of those crazy people on "Clean House" last night, but today i'm totally feelin a Niecy clutter-tossing vibe.

Details are slowly making their way into the thread now.

Thanks for that - I was wondering about that event earlier this week.

It sounds like you'll want to join at ORD or EWR...

While this truly sounds like an excellent time, I have a feeling the cost is going to be a bit difficult for me to justify when compared to other travel opportunities.

So, which hotels are everyone planning on using their free weekend nights?

Much less exciting than anything else posted here, but the Sheraton Society Hill in Philadelphia (Labor Day weekend). It's more for convenience than anything else (tjtenor4 flies out the next morning and this gives us the opportunity to go do something fun in Philly the night before). Due to schedules/family/etc, there just wasn't the time to do an additional separate trip for fun this quarter. :(

That happens in October, where we're going to the Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Avon, CO, which looks gorgeous - but at $136/night (incl tax) I don't feel TOO bad paying for it. :D

If I do one more stay to get an additional night, which I might, I'd like to book one for my parents at one of the NYC properties to use on the way home after dropping the youngest child off at college - the empty-nest years begin. :) Waiting on that until they actually tell me their schedule though...

Also a semi-trashy, but great, 80's tune.

I will be in HKG for the Mega Do :(

I was not a fan of that hotel when I stayed there last year. It is desperate need of a makeover. If you can I would try The Westin Philadelphia

Looks like fun.

Yeah...it will not be cheap. But I cannot imagine that I'll come up with a reason to skip it. I'm even considering the ORD origination though that will depend on the costs of that bit and what the folks at UA actually throw together. Most likely I'll skip it though.

The 15K EQM/RDMs for $625 on the charter isn't too horrible at all. And the previously predicted $1800ish fare for LH J TATL is downright reasonable.

Plus, the FT Mod Do is in MUC that weekend, scheduled in conjunction with this event. So I'd pretty much be a fool to skip out on the cheap TATL J fare knowing that I pretty much have to fly to MUC anyways.

And the icing on the cake is that, as a Mod, I get to do the FA training in FRA and work as an FA on the charter flights. I'm really, really, really looking forward to that.:D

What are the costs for the flights over?

The exact details of that have not been posted yet, but like sbm12 said, prediction was around 1800 USD for C.
