Co.com mileage balances
Is anyone else seeing some inconsistent info on co.com regarding OP balances? On the main page I have one balance, but if I go into the detail of my account, there is a different (correct) number including recent activity.

You mean you don't have a regular exercise program for your liver? How do you expect it to complete the marathon?

Does the Pope  in the woods? In other news I'm getting fat just watching the food they are cooking and eating on the Food Network of big portion heart attack meals in Texas. |
G'Mornin Box.
Yapta just saved me a few hundred on a hotel in Tokyo. I tagged the Starwood Hotels and one of them had the price drop to $100 a night. |
T-2 minutes to the interview.

:D Nice!
Thank you all again for the congrats and well wishes! I started drinking my first vodka cranberry at 8:45am () - is that bad? It may be my last drink until the champagne in the limo, but I figured it doesn't hurt to help take away some of the morning jitters. |

I have known my wife for 16 years; in that time I have seen her drink alcohol twice -- once on our first date, and once immediately after we were married (her knees were shaking throughout the short ceremony). I would think a drink in the morning would be enormously calming on a big day like this.

I made the smart move this time: Sarah was debating having her parents come down here for a long weekend. I offered to use my miles to "get her away from the heat" for a few days & go visit them instead. It was the best use of miles yet: I get a weekend of drinking with friends and no family visiting!
My mom and 2 of her siblings haven't spoken to their mother (my gram) in decades. They are kids #1, 3 and 4 of 5. They have license plates that read "Orphan 1", "Orphan 3" and "Orphan 4". The lastest from my mother. My daughter asked her if she was coming to visit at Christmas and my mother said that she was going to visit my sister. Daughter asked why she kept going there instead of coming here and my mother told her that she wasn't invited! I looked at her and said since when does an open invitation to come any time mean that you haven't been invited. I guess I need to formally send her an invitation in the mail. Only 4 more days. |

That's a great idea -- I wanted to make the Xyzzylets some waffles or pancakes but right now one of them is eating cold pizza
