Now we're playing with $5k in dollar coins. What a morning!

I just woke from the greatest nights sleep in a year :)

Someone work work just sent me a text that there is some "air incident" in the Hudson River. They are busy so I am not going to call them but I checked the local news web sites and did not find anything.

Mackieman Aug 8, 2009 10:44 am

Interview complete.

On site interview next week. :D

Helicopter and small plane collided.

For those of you so inclined, how many computer acronyms do you know?

There were a ton of emergency vehicles racing west ~ 30-40 minutes ago as I was walking around. I guess this explains why. I was heading over that way in a bit anyways. I'll see if I can see anything.

W:rolleyes::rolleyes: H:rolleyes::rolleyes: I now have a Chase checking account and will have 25k more miles soon. The guy tried to 'sell' me another credit card, but I refused. He was asking where I planned on going with my free ticket, like I never travel or something. I told him "just add it to my account for now" because I couldn't tell him the real reason for opening the account was so that I have 5 more branches for depositing coins :p (he might get the hint soon, after 1k in coins for my 'opening deposit' and another few k coming to them next week).

We just got back from opening the wife a personal and business account. I was a bit disappointed when the guy said the business debit card was $65 a year but after talking a bit and finding out we are going to the same beer garden this afternoon I convinced him to waive it completely and Ill buy him a beer.:D I love screwing Chase since they have screwed me so many times. :-:

Congrats to sdm1130 and his wonderful bride. I hope everything goes smoothly. I hear the weather up north isn't too bad either.

I am about to head to IAH, as my father's flight is coming in a couple minutes early. Apparently, his flight went out full, with one standby clearing. No VDBs for him.

GL Mackieman! I hope your onsite interview goes well!

I don't think there's anyone on this forum who hasn't been screwed out of miles by that piece of crap program.

Has to be better than NW's. DL's is phenomenal - I often get miles before the ordered item even arrives.

My fiancee and I haven't exchanged gifts yet, but she did give me an engraved flask as a little joke last night at the rehearsal dinner. :D It will be in the pocket of my jacket today...

In other news, DL's boarding pass gets chopped off a little when you print it. Did they not think to check and see how things look when printed?

Hope there's some Woodford Reserve around. And I've not had a problem with the BP being cut off (at least yet).

Aloha Box.

Just made it home. Sitting out on my back deck with an Italian hero the size of Rhode Island, the NY Times, and the Box. Life is finally good.

The past 18 hours were non-stop EMS . I'm completely bush-whacked. I hit the wall around 5am this morning, but downing a large Dunkin' powered me through. Fixin' to inhale my breakfast/lunch/whatever and take a nice nap.

Saturday mornings, sponsored by Narcan.:mad::rolleyes:

Totally missed my 5,:rolleyes::rolleyes: milestone last night. Dropped it on accident in the Shop One Pass thread. Oh well. I'm sure there will be more. It is, afterall, more.

I started drinking my first vodka cranberry at 8:45am () - is that bad? It may be my last drink until the champagne in the limo, but I figured it doesn't hurt to help take away some of the morning jitters.

I've already been informed well ahead of the fact that I am practically expected to have a shot or two to calm me down, and that I should be expecting the same from her. ^

Fiancee had her leftover sausage/pepperoni/onion thin crust from last night for breakfast. That's very unlike her; I was hoping to snag it. I gained six pounds in the last two weeks after holding steady for quite some time... :(

Good Day, Box. Off to go shopping for a bathroom rehab mission...toilet seat, shower curtain stuff, all that fun stuff.
