Oo, groom in white - ballsy for a boxer ;)

Edit to add: Props to the bride on dress selection. It's very flattering and will likely look "classic" in the future when reflecting on old photos. Too many brides these days choose something ill-fitting and overwrought that I'm sure they'll think was a mistake/joke in the future.

@sdm1130 - If you need suggestions for BKK since I was there yesterday

-Thai cooking classes @ Blue Elephant ( In the morning class you actually go to the market with the chef)
- If a taxi meter tells you the meter is broken, do not take that taxi ( the hotel doormen will write out a card for you with the taxi number that you are getting on as well as the destination.
- Its gonna be hot
- The Penninsula has a free ferry ride from Central Pier (Skytrain Silom Line stop is Saphan Taskin ), you can have drinks or a light meal at the waterfront and then catch a ferry to the Grand Palace area and or the other temples.

and if you can convince the wife , stop by Phantip Plaza, it is a huge electronics mall where they sell anything and everything real and fake that is electronic. I bought an Iphone Mini there:D

The Garden State would love it if you won now that they are taxing lottery winnings.

Good Morning Box!

Learned something new, I had dinner at my second favorite out of town Sushi bar and discovered something very interesting, the Salmon which I always thought was better than most is actually farm raised rather than its wild counterpart. According to the Sushi Chef this particurlar Salmon swims in large nets out in the pacific and lives like it was wild, but is actually a farm raised product.

Another day of work, oh joy!!!

Morning, Box. Today's theme is manual labor. Mrs. Mackie is moving into her new classroom at the local high school and has hired some extremely cheap labor to organize all the furniture which is currently in the middle of the room due to painting over the summer.

Luckily the cheap hired help is easily swayed by her feminine charms. :D:-::rolleyes:

Hmmm...I guess I should use something different on the envelope I'm sending. :p

First time I've ever seen them do that for thunderstorms. Guess maybe they're learning how to better handle bad weather?

A couple weeks ago I was looking for something on co.com and noticed that they had a similar waiver for EWR that night. Even though they aren't advertising it, CO does seem to be getting flexible on that. They are still charging fare difference in most cases though, so not particularly great.

I am on the fence for the JetBlue pass. I don't like you can only go through each city once per-day.

I didn't see that fine print. I have to go check it again. That could mess things up pretty good since pretty much everything has to transit JFK.

Just booked our rooms for the weekend. Staying in Portsmouth, NH at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside on a SPG free weekend night (ALCO tipped me off to this incredible looking hotel) Friday night and a HGI on the water in downtown Portmand, ME Saturday night. Now to plan activities and find a great place in Portland for dinner on Saturday.

There's a great brewpub in Portsmouth, NH. The Muddy River Smokehouse is also pretty good.

Conway - ^. My wife has a (I guess it's ours now) vacation house in NH. Grantham, to be exact. Not too far away from the VT/NH state line. We are considering moving there and she would work at Dartmouth Med Center. I don't know what I would do for work in that area. Otherwise, we love it there.

Too cold in the winter for me!

A quick hello to The Box from the KAL Prestige Lounge at ICN. We made it through the wedding day with no problems at all (only a few swigs from the flask) and will easily remember it as one of the most amazing day of our lives. It couldn't have been any more perfect!

Seoul is a very nice city, but we did not get to see as much as we had hoped due to insane amounts of rain for 2 days straight. The DMZ tour was interesting (even in the rain) and seeing a few of the palaces in Seoul was enjoyable as well. The W Seoul was fantastic and offered some of the best service I have seen at a hotel. ^ to them.

We are off to Bangkok for a few days now. I'm looking forward to seeing (and burning the rest of my Marriott points at) the JW Marriott there.

Sounds like you're having a great time! Enjoy and come back safe.

I almost forgot...

My mom was able to borrow and surprise me with an Elite Access carpet that was rolled out before our introduction at the reception! Needless to say I was quite surprised (and reminded of what a dork I am!).

:D

Fabulous! What a nice Momma you have!
