I noticed that. But, wait...I'm not one of the most profitable customers.

When we moved to TX, we got a flyer in the mail about it... some promo thing. I've priced it out now & it's MUCh more expensive for the plan we have, if we were to start over. Granted, we don't have caller ID, call waiting, etc. But the only thing I use it for is outgoing calls during the day when I know it might take a while (800 #'s to conpanies, etc) and people/companies that don't need my cell phone.

Wow, how? I've been using the DL 5k promo for 5+ day rentals, which has been quite nice! However, I have an few 3-4 day rentals coming up and can't get more than the 500 or 1000 from the CO promo.

You mean these guys? Great use of tax payer $$. I've seen them in (no)action.

Any IAH 'Boxers want to hit a restaurant during Houston Restaurant Week (which runs almost 2 weeks)? Perhaps a Mini-meet?

Yeah, the fare difference can be a pain, but it's still an improvement over the old system of a change fee plus fare difference. That alone is often a $150 savings, and, depending on the fare class and availability, there may be no charge involved at all.

Looks like it's up for EWR again today too.

One wonders who they think their audience is. They are obnoxious from either a left-wing or a right-wing point of view, and people who want good reporting are turned off by this Twitter nonsense. I get CNN International on Fi:rolleyes:S as well as the BBC World Service and thus have no reason to watch domestic CNN anymore.

Clearly, you have rigorously adopted a strongly anti-adverb position while communicating with us boxishly.

8+ years of Latin does wonders for your understanding of the structure of language, even the English language in which cases have largely disappeared.

Some of us live in areas with poor cell reception.

I thought the earth was held up by a really strong guy.

In other news: need to go to LAX next month, want to avoid US (since I can't work on US and oppose giving them my money for transcons on principle), UA cancelled the morning PHL-LAX as of 1 September, so options are CO via CLE, train/Q200 to EWR and then to LAX, or UA via ORD. All get in roughly the same time, CLE leaves 30-45 minutes later than the other options. Flight home would be CO via CLE or EWR or non-stop on UA. WWBD?

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. Tonight I have to finish planning things. My partner still seems clueless about where we're going. I don't think he's looked at his FL account yet to see where the free ticket we had was booked to.

Even their hometown paper is saying that WN screwed the pooch on F9 with that labor clause thing.

ConciergeMike Aug 13, 2009 11:02 am

Go via CLE since at least you only have one RJ in there. PHL-CLE is all RJ, but there's 737's that run on CLE-PHL.

They beat even my incredibly cheap Avis rate in Florida for my trip in September.

Holy crap, thanks for the link.

Aye, I just saved $65 over Avis for the weekend before Labor Day.

I figured it wasn't going to be that easy.

Back to manual labor. :p:rolleyes:
