The big Embraers are great aircraft, and even standard Y seats on them are pretty comfortable, with more width and pitch than the average seat.

If you ever hop on a DL/NW E75 in Y and don't have a laptop to store underneath the next seat, 5B has essentially unlimited legroom from when the aisle jogs after F - better than most domestic F without a hard bulkhead. I truly think it's one of the better domestic Y seats.

Just booked our rooms for the weekend. Staying in Portsmouth, NH at the Sheraton Portsmouth Harborside on a SPG free weekend night (ALCO tipped me off to this incredible looking hotel) Friday night and a HGI on the water in downtown Portmand, ME Saturday night. Now to plan activities and find a great place in Portland for dinner on Saturday.

I've always noticed how that seat had tons of extra room, but never have managed to book it on DL. I've booked it on UA before, but then I always end up getting upgraded and flying in F on their E70s.

I love Portsmouth! ^

Our vacation house is in Kittery, ME but we choose to go to Portsmouth for the nightlife.

Gotta love Flatbread for Pizza and the Friendly Toast for drunken/hungover diner food!

Hi Box; good night box. Not caught up on the last 24 hours. Heading out tomorrow and will be checking in very little.

Flightmemory down?!

Is it just me or has www.flightmemory.com been down for the last few hours? I was just making some progress on entering information and then, nothing.

This also means the links in most people's signature lines (mine included) are now dead.

Frankly, that seat has to be snatched as soon as the person in it's upgraded; I've only experienced it after taking a VDB and left as the first person to "miss" the upgrade.

I love NH, I may go back during the winter :) Fly into Manchester and drive up to concord, moultonborough, sandwich, and up to conway for a nice stay at a rustic cabin.

Heard it was bad there earlier. CO even sent a Tweet about it, and when I clicked the link, I found that they were waiving change fees for travel to/from/via IAH today because of the weather. First time I've ever seen them do that for thunderstorms. Guess maybe they're learning how to better handle bad weather?

Storm near Aldine produced 70 mph winds at IAH. HOU reported 72 mph winds. I saw trees bending sideways here.

Conway - ^. My wife has a (I guess it's ours now) vacation house in NH. Grantham, to be exact. Not too far away from the VT/NH state line. We are considering moving there and she would work at Dartmouth Med Center. I don't know what I would do for work in that area. Otherwise, we love it there.

I've heard Portland is nice. If you happen to go down or stop in the Ogunquit/Wells/Kennebunkport area you will enjoy it there too. I have a friend who lives in Wells and teaches surfing there during the summer, then heads to the mountains to teach snowboarding during the winter. Let me know if you head there.

I have considered moving there, but with all the crowd from MA coming in, I am not so apt to do it anymore, still love to visit.
