Yeah, if you can get to Vegas is less then $60 per leg to hop to southern california.

I'm amused that EVA has a Hello Kitty themed airplane.

I've flown on it a few times. The first time was with Plus1 and I could not stop laughing. Hello Kitty/EVA drink mats, wet towels, mints, sugar packets - everything. I thought it was the funniest thing I had ever seen. Sadly, they ended their relationship and The Hello Kitty plane is no more :(

Out of curiousity I check WN's LGA-SAN and it's like $250 each way. Not bad, and checking further out, $149 each way.

I'm trying to use a WN credit to go see my new nephew but they simply won't put the route on sale (and I'm flexible with three different arrival airports) ...

I'm just bummed that Google still hasn't released a new version of Gears that works with FF 3.5.

I just read a suggestion from someone in the Google Gears group that said to go to gears.google.com and reinstall. Sure enough, even though FF does not detect a new version, there is a new version of Gears that works with FF 3.5. I'm a happy camper now.

WN usually will, according to my past experience, dump everything into reward ticket availability if a route isn't sold out at the last minute. I have two one-way rewards booked for my folks to fly back from SNA after driving my car to California at the end of the month. I want to change them to the earlier flight in the morning to get them home sooner - I'll let you know how it works out for opening up. Just remind me if all else fails.

US Airways or US based airlines? The second picture is CO at the IAH facility.

This is actually the disc I "discovered" him with back in college. I'm a big fan. I'd love to see him live. I'll have to see when he's playing next somewhere I can be.

He is pretty good live actually - I enjoyed the show even though I only knew a couple songs.

I meant credit as in $$$ rather than a RR and I'm trying to get to BOS, MHT, or PVD at a time that doesn't require taking too much annual leave (which is an asset worth ~$50 an hour to be paid in the next two months if I get my intended demotion) ... Even though it's travel funds, I still want to make sure I get the best possible deal.

I chose this option on my last trip - got a LAS-LAX segment for $49+ on UA.
