If I hadnt done the MRs last year I would be so adament about getting the card plus I want it in case I have troubles overseas. Not to get into lounges but to get better service potentially.

I have a now former friend who did this back in 2002. No one has been in contact with him since. A bunch of us tried. E-mail, voice mails, nothing returned. A whole big group was cut off. The only reason we know he was still around was one of my co-workers was working with him on a project and she loved the speaker phone and I'd hear his voice on the phone.

I thought someone in the TSA or CO handling had stolen my luggage strap today(I had to check a bag to take some liquids for work), wasn't a huge deal, but I just found they put it in a pocket on the bag. ^

Pretty sure it was CO handler that did it, TSA didn't even check my bag by the looks of it, I had things a particular way and a sensor lock on it, none changed.

I guess it was getting in the way on the conveyor belt or something.

Gbryan84: as long as the flight to AMS lands after sunrise you'll have some good views coming in. On our approach just before going feet dry on the Dutch coast I saw a ginormous wind farm in the North Sea just off the entrance to what I think was the Port of Rotterdam. The flower fields have almost all been cut down, but a few tulip fields are still around. Right-side windows are highly recommended, unlike canal boats. If it were me doing it again, I would do it the same and wake up about an hour before landing...you should be right about over Dublin.
