Good to hear -- as long as she's eating, drinking, etc. as normal -- then it sounds like she'll be ok. When does your roommate get back?

Comrade Miller

Dear Comrade Miller:

You will be most pleased to be informed that I have been able to secure for you the latest glorious model Soviet tripod. This pean to advanced socialist technology will make your picture taking a tribute to the glory of our command economy.

At only 40 kilos in weight, you will be able to carry the tripod on all of your many journeys and make many difficult night shots.

Also, progressive Soviet design means you don't have to worry about mating the tripod to different thread mount types - we don't use threads! You just drill a whole in your camera to match the tripod and soon you are making long exposures at any tractor factory or collective farm sovkhozes you may be visiting.

Glory to the revolution of the proletariat!

Car & Driver always uses "Lexi" and "Tauri."

Baglady gave me a miniature leather-bound copy of the US Constitution way back when. I take it with me I visit commie-land. It was even printed here!

This is true, parents own a gas station in Houston.

I love how one asks to show ID and merely glances at it a la TSA style . At least make an effort.

Congrates SBM12!!!!

Earlier this week I had charged my Lifetime XM Status after geting a notice I needed to renew. I then get a call today and am told to call and do so. Come to find out even though I took care of the renewal by buying lifetime status I still need to bay for the month of serive. UGH!

I'm currently on CO #727 on 5/17 and it's full up front. I'm thinking of switching to 627 (7:30am) not just to get home earlier but to also raise my chance of getting the upgrade. Good idea?

Anyways, another sign of increasing CC fraud. I ordered some blu-ray discs - yea, I'm getting a blu-ray player, finally! - last night from a company I've never ordered before, familyvideo.com. And today, I got an email from the company to call them to confirm my information.

I have had good luck with inetvideo for older releases and bottom feeding. I've ordered from them 4 or 5 times and they've been quick to ship.

It is my distinct honor and pleasure to share with you this moment, my post number 20,000 on FlyerTalk. Thanks to the foresight and generosity of our deal leader, Pandy Reterson, multiple successive 5 year plans have been successfully implemented growing our once small and weak nation into a powerful and mighty one. No longer will other lounges be able to push us around or command the respect they once did. No longer will the traveling public be safe from the threat of General  and the emotipillar army. No longer will a bar cart be safe from me.

This moment in time has been almost nine years in the making. I look forward to the next 20,000 posts coming faster, with more wit and with more alcohol.

Long live the PWP!

Congratulations you pw :D

I'd wait and see how it looks after you pass the 24 hour mark. If there are still plenty of seats up front (and if the chance at an upgrade is worth $50 to you), then go for it.

Remember that you may miss the 3 hour EUA run as the SDC doesn't seem to always add elites to the upgrade list. In this case, you would also need to have an agent add you once you get to the airport.

Good luck! ^
