This A330 seems to have had an interior conversion done too...blue and silver cloth on the seats.

My mother had not heard about Deltalina until yesterday. Patiently waiting for her reaction, since I showed her a pic of her and said she looks like Steven Tyler.

On a different note, has anyone heard from shell nyc lately? my emails and texts have gone into a black hole.

Ironically, she's the ONE FT person that I have met randomly in an airport so far - we hung out in IAH for a little while during a fog-out; I was going to BTR and she was off to some ski trip, I think! Then again, that was mid-March...

Ahhh, so you were the mysterious person. I remember hearing the story just didn't remember who the person was.

I'll ping her later today and post an update.

Appreciate all the good thoughts about my friend. I really don't know how she seems to be holding up so well.

Oh, morning box.

Good night all.

Two more weeks on nights, then I start my three months of the evening shift.

In other news, I left $20 in my desk at work and someone took it. I need chloroform, rusty jumper cables and a car battery to find out who took it.

One more question. Do you have any idea what seats are the best on the helicopter from TSS-EWR? Right now its wide open but there is only 1 row of seats on the starboard side (row 3) and 3 rows on the port side?

I've never bothered with an assigned seat. I have also been the only person on the helo both times I took the flight.

Got a text from her the night of the Palm mini-do, but nothing since.

EDS = A bunch of boobs CO has outsourced a lot of its IT.

I know at least one of the EDS guys. He's on FT and is actually pretty good and helpful. The rest of them may be boobs, but this guy is nice and competent. :)

Major posting milestone pending for later this morning. :D :p

Morning Box.

After several OT's, a few "delay of game" penalties, and a few failed attempts at punting, looks like I'm ready to concede defeat. Get your 4:rolleyes:'s ready boys.

In other news, CO will be operating a ROC - FLL direct flight on Saturday.;):D

The Heidi Game (often referred to, facetiously, as the "Heidi Bowl") refers to a famous American Football League (AFL) game between the New York Jets and the Oakland Raiders, played on November 17, 1968 in Oakland, California. This game is memorable largely as the result of a decision by the NBC television network to terminate the broadcast in the Eastern and Central time zones with 65 seconds left to play in the game in favor of broadcasting a pre-scheduled airing of Heidi, a new made-for-TV version of the classic children's story.

With the Jets leading 32-29 with only 65 seconds left in the game, NBC programmers, eager to maintain their evening schedule, switched off the ostensibly-decided game. However, the Raiders came back and scored 14 points, winning 43-32. Because of NBC's decision, no fan following the match on TV was able to see Oakland's comeback live. The complaints to the network indicated a new height of popularity for the game in the United States.

Congratulations! Where will this concession take place?

My father was a producer at an NBC affiliate during the Heidi Bowl debacle. He fielded many-a-phone call...
