At the risk of sounding like an insensitive arse I experience enough difficulty in conversing with your average Dunk employee that I prefer simplicity.

That and I usually get my Dunkin' for free*. So, I never want to bite the hand that, literally, feeds me.

Somewhere in LA, BlissWorld is 'ing me.

Speaking of more is more...

A thoroughly unscientific poll of Box Dunkin-ers.

When you go to you Dunkin and order your favorite beverage and decide to tag on something to eat, do you order it as a combo (e.g. #3), or do you expect the cashier to combo it up for you as you order?

Boring background story:
I always ordered items separately and expect the cashier to combo it up, which they have done forever as I can tell. It's much faster/easier than trying to order a combo since there's so many options. Apparently, my wife discovered the local Dunkin wasn't doing anymore and was charging piecemeal.:rolleyes: So I went there (drive through) with the intention of not ordering it like a combo and seeing what they would do (i.e. to pick a fight). :o:D:rolleyes: Sure enough they didn't charge the combo and I yelled at them. Cue nerd/loser/jerk. :o:D:p

I usually don't even order at the local dunkin , they have my medium ready for me when they see me .
Once in a while they will ask if I want food and I never checked if I was getting the combo or not .

Dunno. It's a bit strange, though.

Maybe this is my problem. I need to go inside to order and build up a rapport (i.e. leave some money in the tip jar).

I'm not going to lie. The other day when I mentioned that I booked CoEx over Mainline in favor of sleep -- the tie went to access to the Shipley in Terminal B.

I. Need. Help.

I was in PTY for a few days in January and stayed at The Four Points Panama City Hotel and The Gamboa Rainforest Resort for a night. The Four Points was fine...clean room, free business center, free buffet breakfast. Gamboa was beautiful. The room had a large balcony with a hammock overlooking the property. I also took a boat ride to Monkey Island and recommend it (got to see howler monkeys, cappuchin monkeys, a sloth, and crocodiles). As other posters have said cabs are very cheap and you can get one to tag along with you for a few hours. The Miraflores Locks were cool to see as well.

At least it's better than the A-C shuttle at EWR.

Anything is better than that fiasco.

Just a curiosity--
I booked the same UA ORD-LHR run as ssullivan and I doubt I'll be able to make the trip.
The base fare was $83, no YQ, and $175 in taxes for each ticket.

Do I understand that taxes are only paid for actual flown flights? At this point, I don't feel bad about being out for the fare price, but having the taxes refunded or in a cert would be really nice.
If I'm correct in my thoughts, what is the best way to go about this? .bomb or calling?
