No pain, no gain. Besides, you know you want to spend 14 hours in whY on a PK 777-200LR. :D

I think I just threw up a little bit in my mouth.

Ugh. Farecompare's FlyerTalk page doesn't support routing rules for AA Fares.

We'll see how she feels about Y on a longhaul trip, that may push her over the edge...

How is the drive between DCA and downtown Baltimore?

Is it worth a $50 cheaper fare?

IMO, no.

The drive can take anywhere from an hour to 4. Don't froget DCA is on the VA side of the district.

IM no CO1E but , it is not bad if there is no traffic.

I agree with belynch - fly to BWI. Depending on the time of day and day of the week, the traffic around DC and up 95 can be terrible.

Yes, there is. The best parody of it was from 95.5WPLJ that did a goof on the Barbie song and called it Jersey Girl or something. Amusing.

I got the kettles from he!! in front of me from albama. I need 2 find another empty row.

Last week there were 12 people that (looked like) they never flew before in rows 42-44 (the men and boy were wearing jackets and ties ). Before push back one of the kids rang the FA button 5 times. In the end it wasn't that  of a flight and the FA's seem to take a shine to them.

A Slingbox is a necessity for anyone who travels internationally. I love mine!

Hrm, I must investigate this. How does is perform over a wireless router or does it need to be wired (assume that this is for HD programming too)?

Mine is wired to my router so I can't say for sure, but im pretty sure it works fine over wireless .
HD programming is available , but it will not look as good unless you get the slinbox pro , which broadcasts HD .

Hartmann Mar 12, 2009 9:14 am

The conference is all day Saturday and I would probably fly in late Friday (arrive around 10pm) and would leave Sunday morning.

My father-in-law-to-be has his Slingbox wirelessly connected to his router and has no problems streaming.

At those times, you shouldn't run into any traffic problems. The drive takes about 45 minutes to an hour.

Comarade, that is a major victory!
