It and the W Barcelona (opening late 2009) are high on my list of Ws to visit. I also want to check out the new W Hoboken, after having seen the location last weekend. The views of Manhattan should be unmatched.

True, but then again, there was a guaranteed winner and the odds were like what, 1:20,000 and your odds were 10,000:20,000 = 1:2 :D

A lot of these so-called drawings for "a chance to win" have no guaranteed winners. The odds are something like 1:18,000,000 or less. So, essetially, they assign you a number from 1 to 18,000,000. Then, the computer generates a random number. If the number matches yours, you win.

Of course, you have to play to win....but sometimes I'm like...why bother :p

Nice! However, I highly recommend booking an ocean front villa and save your points. The villas are surprising affordable (not cheap, but affordable, especially with Z3R) and are worth it.

Does Starwood upgrade Plats on point stays? If so, you may have a chance at one of their ocean front villas - they look fantastic! We're spending 5 nights in one and I can't wait.
