I'm so thankful that no one has yet invented a 12-step program for deprogramming us. I worry that if we involve too many Significant Otters/Others in future DOs, that they may come up with the idea on their own.

My partner is now wiling to attend a DO just to see the "freaks" I hang out with on this site. LOL

I'm not totally sure how to take that...

I was not trolling for moderator comments, just pointing it out as I know it was discussed recently.

And I talked to the client and explained that I couldn't get there any earlier and am now actually going to get to sleep a little bit on Friday night before heading in to what will potentially be a 36-48 hour work day. Oh joy.

Mine's a bit miffed that I'm traveling halfway around the world with a bunch of people from teh internets to ride on aircraft that should have been made into aluminum cans decades ago. I figure it's good that she understands her future husband is a total dingus well in advance of marriage. That way, there's no nasty surprises later on.

Disagree with you. Copy and paste terminal A-West over the rest, along with the changes you mention. Then you've got a ^ airport.

I unofficially and without asking and by the way completely off the record did not hear from somebody whose name need not at all in any way shape or form be mentioned that this pain in the - er, member () is or was standing (finally) on his last leg and that this vacation may or may not be the one that lands said individual a spot in FT heaven (or at least that is how I perceived the writing style of the electronic communique that somehow misguidedly found its way to my personal inbox...)...my joyous and celebratory response to this must, however, be muted, as I understand that said individual is at last check a human being and may indeed have real-life friends on teh internets here. Should I recieve word that the above is indeed true and said person is never to be heard from again, I will at that point scour YouTube for videos of fireworks, Arabic citizenry mindlessly firing AK's into the night sky, and mp3 renditions of Joy to the World.

I'm no moderator (so I know I really have no business saying this), but as a Penalty Box lover, I think it is best that we keep the discussions of the suspensions of other members out of here.

I'd hate to see this place get locked down.

So wait, does that mean you have an obligation to hang out with the other half and therefore will be missing out on Saturday (certainly understandable if that is the case!)? I'm .

The above was an incoherent string of words and emoticons brought on by relapsing remitting dementia when said topic arises. I said nothing of the sort that you are thinking of. :D

I'm thinking such, yeah. Of course, she doesn't know it's coming and we are going to nearly five days together uninterrupted soon after that Saturday. Still not sure if I'm with her just for dinner or not that night. I also at some point in the next 2 weeks have to finish the website and find the time to talk to Daddy about his little girl. Haven't gotten around to that yet.

ConciergeMike Aug 14, 2008 1:48 pm

FT is driving me nuts with these page loads and I'm waaaaay behind schedule for getting out to said girlfriend's residence. Have to remove golf clubs from the trunk to fit an office chair that is replacing this one which is currently living in her basement.

Agreed.

Moving on to more important news. Apparently it's illegal to teabag someone in CT.

There's a video floating around the Net of a hacked version of one of the Call of Duty games where a Nazi infantryman dies, only to be teabagged by the GI that dispatched him.
