Yes the old one was gross. I flew outta there a few times, once on WN! The TUL airport is in the mist of the first major renovation since 1964 (I believe) in the coming years. This will help update the post-security areas of the airport. I read that it is so bad on that side that they have to manufacture parts for the luggage system. So time will tell.

Actually the passenger areas at TUL were extensively renovated in around 2002.

Is an E fare on UA fully refundable without any sort of fee (it appears so from the fare rules)?

UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED NOTE - RULE 16RF IN DGR APPLIES UNLESS OTHERWISE SPECIFIED NOTE - - TICKETS MUST BE REISSUED WHEN ANY VOLUNTARY CHANGE IS MADE. . 1. WHOLLY UNUSED TICKETS - CHANGES TO ORIGINATING FLIGHT - WHOLLY UNUSED TICKETS ARE FULLY REFUNDABLE. CHANGES ARE PERMITTED AT ANYTIME. IF CHANGE IS MADE TO ORIGIN/DESTINATION/STOP- OVER POINT/BOOKING CODE OR CHANGE VIOLATES RULES OF ORIGINALLY TICKETED FARE-TICKET MUST BE REPRICED AT CURRENT FARES APPLICABLE TO CHANGED ITINERARY.

I can handle that as long as it's not windy. The course is a private one that I never had a connection at when I was working, and part of it is out on the marshes by the bay across from AC proper. We shall see.

Thanks, Mike! Actually, those pics are with the 100-400 + a 1.4x extender. I have to manual focus, but it seems to work pretty well. ^

The livery thread has got me thinking...

I think a Q400 would look pretty sweet (and somewhat ironic) in a "Golden Jets" Classic Livery. Would probably be cheaper to paint than a mainline aircraft, as well...

All the more reason to stay inside a Bulldog or the Casa Rosso. :D

Good grief. I hope we can land in that. It's generally a tad windier in Den Haag than AMS, being on the coast and all.
