Wow, I missed a ton in the Box this afternoon. I scored four recommendation letters and originals of most of the magazine articles I wrote.

The 4P there was a pleasant surprise.

I have had the pleasure of the 4P several times flying out as I am usually on the 6 am flight and dont want to drag myself outta bed at 3 am to make my flight. I have not yet had any of the beers on tap, I may have to try them the next time I am there. I know, I am such a bad Boxer for not drinking my reguirement beer, I am more of a wine guy.

A car rental from 12/17-12/21 is 4 days. Why is National the only rental company that insists on charging me for an entire week!? That makes them a good $150 more expensive than everyone else.:mad:

Funny you should say that as the TUL airport is a dump and costly while the OKC airport is modern and less expensive. I can see both sides of the coin. Know if I lived in either major city I may have nicer things to say. I just need to get out of the small town as small town living isnt for me. I mean I am ready to move back to LBB (and that is not just because I am a Bump Whore) vs. STW!

Tulsa's airport is much improved over what it was around 2000, before they renovated it. I don't find it that bad.

I haven't been to the new OKC terminal, but have heard it's nice. The old one was pretty gross.

I have my OnePass number in the reservation and have checked in, but have not been upgraded. You think the CO elite ff numbers are translating over into DL as NW elite numbers of the same elite tier?

It happend to me at the gate, don't plan on a EUA.

Oh, you're going through PHL - it will be even more awesome than I originally thought. Maybe you'll be lucky and have the Piedmont or ASA plane on one of your segments.

Awesome. A special paint job is probably going to be the highlight of the experience… if I even get that much.

The OKC airport was actually very nice, especially the Con-Air terminal across the other side of the runways. It was the city itself that I was not at all impressed with.

ALCO, if you end coming thru PHL for at least a long connection, do be sure to let me know.

I'm supposedly playing local golf Sunday at 9am. I'm wondering if I'm going to turn into a human popsicle.

To everyone flying this weekend, even if it's on US, you stink. :p

Yes the old one was gross. I flew outta there a few times, once on WN! The TUL airport is in the mist of the first major renovation since 1964 (I believe) in the coming years. This will help update the post-security areas of the airport. I read that it is so bad on that side that they have to manufacture parts for the luggage system. So time will tell.
