The FA question thread made me wonder something - how much buffer is included in the block time for flights to IAH? I have 39 (well 24) minutes to get from C-19 to 34 tomorrow. I can sprint ahead while the missus brings the kid, I just want to make sure we don't lose out seats.
Flight status states that the flight is 86% on-time, so I'm not too worried, but I need something to worry about. It helps pass the time at work.

I think you will be fine. If you are worried, hop on one of the electric carts :)
'Xcuse the cart please!
CO knows you are coming in and as long as you don't mess up the slot allocation you'll make the flight and they should not give up your seats.
As far as that flight being buffered, I've noticed that usually you'll push early and make up some time in the air. I'd talk to the agent at BWI about your connection.
